Crew and his two girls, Addy and Paige, need an escape from the last year and a half’s tragedies, so he’s hoping this Summer trip to Redemption Falls is just what them three need, a much needed respite from their life in Chicago. Well, what he didn’t expect was that his tenant would help in all the right ways.
Tennyson, and her reclusive manners, rightfully so considering her terrible past, have kept her safe her safe since she moved, two years ago, but has also left her lonely and ’empty’, but her defences stood no change against the adorable tweens that are now her neighbour. Well, that and their swoon worthy dad, Crew Madden.
A girl who’s never going to leave here, whose secrets remain untold. And a boy who doesn’t know how to feel any other way for a woman who seemingly jumpstarted his heart again.

Crew was everything I adore in my book boyfriends, strong, protective, sweet, caring, but still Alpha through and through, and so wise and rational, that he went straight to my top book boyfriends’ list. That’s right, he’s THAT memorable! His charm – along with his little ones and his adoration of them – was irresistible, so much so that I believe that only him/they could have broken Tennyson self induced restraint, her lonely ways.
Once I started reading this, I was completely sucked into their story, their sad pasts, fears, wishes, and most important heartfelt emotions. K. Bromberg truly excels in connecting us with her characters, I felt every single one of their feelings like it was my own, and after just their first meeting I could see that Tenny belonged in that family, their chemistry and connection was undeniable.
Until You really pulled at my heartstrings, so much so that even with that perfect Epilogue, I was left wanting even more, really hoping we get it with the other books of the series!
