Being a huge fan of the Hyde gang I knew I was going to love this one, but damn, Ms. Frost surpassed ALL my expectations, I was in Alpha male HEAVEN! Not only Lars stood out in my best book boyfriends’ list, but wow, Joss was up there in my fav heroines, with her strength, sass and spine of steel, perfect match indeed.
Masculine and feminine.
Hard and soft.
Outright strong and deceptively resilient.
Lars dominated the kiss. Owned it.Owned me.
My OTT Alpha lover heart truly was bursting with happiness with this man, his jealous, possessive, über protective, and OBSESSED streak was as sexy as the man himself. Some may say too OTT, I say hell yes, give me all that brand of romance! Just dark enough to leave me salivating for more.

And all that awesome and entertaining cast of characters from the Hyde/Sweets You Rock and company just kept me entertained, engaged, and wanting allllllllll their stories, that we don’t know yet, Layla Frost masterful story telling is THAT addictive. Sweet, romantic, steamy and with just the right amount of suspense – I did not see that coming, btw! – Sweet Wicked Obsession is now one of my TOP reads of 2022, and definitely my winner in contemporary/suspense romance so far! Layla Frost has always been a rebel. A true badass.
Growing up, Layla used to hide under her blanket with a flashlight to read the Sweet Valley High books she pilfered from her older sister. It wasn’t long before she was reading hidden Harlequins during class at school. This snowballed into pulling all-nighters after the promise of “just one more chapter”.
Her love of reading, especially the romance genre, took root early and has grown immeasurably.
In between reading and writing, Layla spends her free time rocking out(at concerts, on the couch, in the car… Anywhere is a stage if you get into it enough), watching TV(the nerdier the better!), and being a foodie. Though she lives in NY(the state, not the city), she’s an avid Red Sox fan.
