Header Perfect Rage

EXTRAORDINARY! Nashoda Rose created the most emotionally beautiful, heart wrenching, soul touching, and without a doubt, absolutely unforgettable story in PERFECT RAGE!

Connor and Alina – Catalina – meet eleven prior to the present time set of the book on Afghanistan, where Alina went as a magazine photographer on a piece about an orphanage and Connor was on the end of his mission before doing the tryouts for the Canadian special forces.

Their chemistry was undeniable, from the very first moment they met, and during this month they fell deeply in love and recognized in the other their soulmate.

Awakening.

It was an awakening of my body. I didn’t know if he felt it, too, probably not, but for me it awakened something inside me. Like it lived and breathed with all these new emotions.

It was a free fall as he thrust inside me. Not knowing where I’d land. If I’d survive. But nothing mattered except the beauty in the fall.

Sadly, an evil reality came crashing down on them, in the most atrocious of ways, and they were separate, tortured and broken…

Teaser Perfect Rage 1

Without revealing to much, since the journey is key in this book, they both went through hell, but thought they would always have the memory of their love.

Carved. Etched. Engraved. Fuck, it was everything. Her standing there was an image I’d never forget. Didn’t need a fuckin’ photo to remind me.

Or so they thought…

When they were able to chemically erase every trace of the old Connor from his memory, and transform him into a killing machine, they destroyed Alina right along with him. But also shown us how she NEVER, not even for a moment, stopped believing in their love, never stopped believing in Connor.

Through it all, every heart breaking moment, she was their unmovable anchor, and his safe harbor.

At any moment, life could throw a hook and drag you under, but if you had that one person to hold onto, the fight to the surface was easier. That person was your reason to breathe.

Recovering his memories was devastating to him, he saw no way out of the darkness but still couldn’t stay away from Alina. Their connection was indeniable, and even when he fought it he came defeated every time, because he just couldn’t stay away from him, she was part of him, his sliver of light in a sea of darkness and demons.

Teaser Perfect Rage 2

And that’s all she ever wanted, to be with and there for him. She was wholesome hearty his. The other half of his soul…

“I fell for you, Connor. I fell in love with you a long time ago. I may not have known all of you, but I knew who you were, what type of person. And I loved who I was with you.”

“You love a man who’s dead. That’s not me now, Alina.”

“Maybe not. But whoever you’ve become, you’re still the man I love. You’re still him and remembering what you’ve done is killing you. But you know why it is? Because you still have the good parts. If you didn’t care, none of the stuff you did while drugged would matter to you.”

Alina was one of the strongest heroines I’ve ever read. Even with her own personal  brand of torture, she could only think of Connor. She fought for them and their love all throughout the story, and her faith in them never once wavered. All she ever wanted was their love, and their second chance.

Connor… I couldn’t have loved him more. After Kai, in Perfect Ruin, I thought I had found my favorite Nashoda hero, and he could be beat. Well wasn’t I wrong?! I loved Connor and every broken piece of him, which just made him more special. His loyalty, sense of right, devotion and playfulness (prior to the programming drugs) we impossible to resist, so I completely understand Alina’s fight for them, because damn, he’s more than worth it! His love for Alina was just as pure and soul deep.

“What I feel for her is limitless. There is no end to the love I have for her.”

Perfect Rage really was one of the most beautiful Love stories I’ve ever read and this characters chemistry came through in every single page. Never once did I doubt they were meant to be together. And of course that exploded in their ‘orgasmic inducing’ sex scenes! Lordy, these were some of the steamiest scenes I’ve had the pleasure of reading. They weren’t just having sex, they were indeed communicating with their bodies! These scenes were just as emotionally charged as the rest, even more so. You could feel it transpiring with every touch, with every breath… It was indeed a way for them to communicate their love for one another.

“My mind may have forgotten you, Alina, but my body never did.”

Of course we have some extraordinary secondary characters, specially the MCs of the previous books – which that give us one more look into their HEA – and show an incredible loyalty, friendship and support to both the main characters, even when they least wanted. That’s what friends are for, after all! 😉

“Jesus Christ, why can’t you leave me the fuck alone?”

“You know why,” Deck answered calmly. “We don’t leave a man behind—Ever.”

Nashoda creates some of the most perfect imperfect characters I’ve ever read and transforms their story in the most unique of ways, approaching serious themes like sex and child traficking, torture, murder, rape, but never in a descriptive, traumatizing way, but getting her point across and creating awareness on the matter. That is a true gift! And even though you get all these points, the main focus of her book, and this is no exception, are the ROMANCE, the beautiful LOVE story, and them getting their own Happy Ever After!

“We’re going to be okay, aren’t we?”

“Yeah. Not perfect. Not the same. But yeah.”

“I don’t want perfect or the same. I just want us and whoever we are now,”

It took us eleven years to get here, but we made it because our love was limitless.

Header Protection Crisis

Protection Crisis is the perfect trademark of Rochelle Paige’s books: the perfect balance of sweet and steamy. Low angst, and a sure HEA/HFN that is guaranteed to leave you with a smile on your face, are the perfect finishing touch!

Kael is an absolutely perfect hero, protective, caring and smoking hot. Even before meeting Chloe, from the very moment he first takes a look at her photo, he is lost in her. She became his dream girl, that never once thought he would see, let alone seduce and conquer her heart!

“It was months before then, Chloe. I saw your face staring up at me from the cover of a magazine and that was it for me—I was fascinated.”
“You always seem to know the perfect thing to say.”
“Only with you.”

Chloe is such an adorable heroine. She couldn’t have be more distant from the diva type, so down to earth, and giving. Her hidden fragility was the perfect counterpart to Kael’s alpha protectiveness, but with a touch of delicious sass.

“There will be no going back from this for you and me. If you give yourself to me, I’m taking you. You’ll be mine, and I won’t be letting you go.”
“I’m right here for you to take.”

This story was the PERFECT insta-love smutty read. Which I love dearly! The touch of adventure coupled with the romance and their sizzling chemistry rapture you from the very beginning, and before you even realized you just finished the book, and want to dive right into Rochelle’s next book! And after that hint of a teaser I can’t wait for Brody’s story! <3

“I came out here and found my life,” I corrected her. “As long as I have you, everything else will fall into place.”

Riding him

Synopsis

Knox “Scribe” Robertson has been with the Ghost Riders MC since the beginning. He’s the club hacker, and there’s nothing he can’t do… except make Violet Cassano notice him. The little thing is trying to patch in, and suddenly all his protective instincts push forward. He can’t let her become a member of the club without putting her in harm’s way.

Violet has been different since that dark day in her past, but the Ghost Riders are exactly what she needs. If only the hot, tattooed, bearded piece of meat Knox would get out of her way. She’s got enough sass and skills with knives to keep him at a distance, but soon she doesn’t want to.

When the two of them are paired up for a job out of town, they’ll be left on their own in the middle of nowhere. Being stuck inside a tiny tent, with no one to hear them… I wonder what could possibly happen? *cue dirty 70s music*

The Ghost Riders are at it again in this final chapter to the series. See how the club hacker finds his happily ever after, and what Violet does to keep it that way. Spoiler alert… It’s dirty stuff.

Violet

I pull my eyes away from the man I haven’t been staring at for the last thirty minutes. Or at least that’s what I keep telling myself. I take a sip from the warm beer I’ve been milking. I don’t stare at men. Never really have. Not since… I push that thought away, not wanting to go there right now. I have other things to think about.

    Scribe.

I can’t tell you that it’s clear he got a haircut today. The sides buzzed short and the top left long, like a sexy ass mohawk. Even his beard is perfectly cut and combed. Just like everything about him. The tips of my fingers tingle just thinking about running my fingers along the side of his head to feel the fresh cut of his hair.

He’s broad and lean and looks nothing like what you’d think a computer hacker would look like. No cliché when it comes to Scribe there. He’s doesn’t look like someone who’d spent years working for the government. No, he looks like he spends half his life in a gym. A GQ model covered in tattoos if ever there was one. I don’t fucking know because I don’t think I’ve ever read the magazine, but I’ve seen the covers my sisters leave around. He’s definitely not something you’d see sitting behind a computer screen doing God knows what. I can barely check my email.

I’ve only met him a few times now, and even with the few words we’ve shared, I already can’t stand him. Or maybe it’s the fact that I can’t stand how he makes me feel when he’s in a room with me. The spark that hit me the first time I’d seen him. Maybe spark is underplaying something I’ve been feeling since I’d meet him. More like a ball of hot lust that’s burning me deep in my gut, making me itch. That has never happened to me in my life. It’s unsettling, and something I hadn’t planned for, and I don’t like when things don’t go to plan.

He is just so damn…charming, witty, smart, fucking sexy, and the world’s biggest flirt. Well, the last I’ve just heard whispers of. Because, fuck me if I haven’t been listening to anything and everything people say about him. Trying to soak it all in and pretend I don’t care at the same time.

There are jokes here and there about it, but right now I’m looking right at it as he leans against the bar, talking to a beautiful blonde bartender. She is exactly the kind of woman that I’d picture up against him. Under his arm. She’s tall enough to match his height and has curves in all the right places. Womanly. Something I’m definitely not. I haven’t worn a dress or heels in…I search my mind and come up blank. I don’t even have a womanly body. I’m more straight and lean and maybe have a handful of tit. I hadn’t given much thought to it until lately, which only further pisses me off. I don’t do insecure, but I’d caught myself just last night looking at myself in the mirror wondering if a man like Scribe would even look my way. That just burned.

Denim and Diamonds is where all the Ghost Riders like to hang out. That’s the club I’m trying to fit in with, and I’m hoping I’ll be getting news very soon that I’m now a prospect. I’ve been busting my ass to get this. I’ve never wanting something so bad in my life, and I knew it was where I belonged from the first moment I’d met my sister-in-law Mac, also known as Casper in the Ghost Riders. The only female member at the moment. Not only that, but she’s their Sergeant at arms and one of the best snipers that served our country. She put a lot of things into focus for me. Showed me what I’d been missing. This meaningless feeling I’d been walking around with. I know this could fill it. This is something I have to be a part of. Something I want to be a part of me.

I didn’t want to go into the police force like the rest of my family had. Well, the men anyway. I seemed to be the only female in the family who had a desire to play with guns and knives and run with the boys. I’d always been like that, even with all my sisters always trying to dress me and make me go on dates. I wanted to play with my older brother Vincent instead. Listen to him and Dad swap stories of their time on the force. I wanted a life like that.

Adrenaline. I love it; it makes me feel alive. But I’d never looked at a man before and had a dose of it shoot through my veins. Even though I love it when it hits, I don’t like it coming from a man. Even worse, a man like Scribe. He’s all kinds of wrong for me, and while I might be able to hang with the guys, I don’t have much experience really playing with them like that. Like I said, that spark had just never hit.

“Violet, don’t look so tense. You got this,” Casper, my sister-in-law says to me. I glance over at her. Like always she has her long black hair pulled up in a tight ponytail. But unlike her usual tight black tee, today she has on a loose shirt hiding her little baby bump.

She leans back in the chair next to me, scrolling through her phone. “Pres is going to call us in soon.”

I nod and look back out into the bar, watching everyone. Just trying to take it all in and do as Cas taught me. Watch everything and everyone.

“Who’d you hit first?” Cas asks me, leaning forward in her chair and putting her elbows on the table.

“Two o’clock in the blue with the goatee.” Cas smiles. “Then the one in red, three down to blue shirt to the right. Normally I would have said Red, but he’s got a few beers deeper, so he’ll be slower.”

“What about him?” I follow Cas’s line of sight and see a big motherfucker leaning against the far wall and watching two girls play pool. He looks deadly. Probably is with his hands, but takes a lot for a man that size to move, and I’ve got lots of time before he could get to me.

“He’s not carrying. He’d come later.”

She must like what I say, because she just leans back in her chair once again, going back to her phone.

I go back to watching. Pres, Lucias Houston, doesn’t let sweet butts into the club, so this is where everyone hangs when not at the clubhouse. A lot of locals know that, and this place is always crawling with women looking for a bad boy.

It’s a thrill I don’t understand. Or maybe I’ve just been around my father and brother too much. They treat their wives like gold. Like nothing else in the whole world is more important to them, and I don’t think that’s something I’m going to find around here. Even less so with someone like Scribe. Not that I’m looking, I remind myself. I’m not his type either, and he barely gave me the time of day when first saw him. In fact, he looked like he didn’t like me at all. Worse, I’d overheard him tell Pres I shouldn’t be here. Just my fucking luck. The first interest I show in a man in forever and he doesn’t even want to be in the same room as me.

The reminder has me tightening my grip around my beer bottle. How the fuck does he know if I belong here or not? He doesn’t even know me. Has no idea of what I’m capable of. The things I’ve done. No, not many know. That was sealed up tight. So tight I don’t even think Scribe could find it.

I glance over at him once again and see the blonde bartender throw back her head and laugh at whatever he just said to her. I have to fight an eye roll. I’m not sure if I want to roll my eyes at them or myself for even caring. Fuck him. I’ll show him how much I belong.

The bartender nods towards the door that leads to the back of the bar into the kitchen, and Scribe nods back, following her and making my stomach do a little nervous flip. God, I have to shake this. Whatever it is I’m feeling for him has to go, because it’s not going to work. At least not with him.

“Can’t go hating Scribe already,” I hear Cas say next to me. I turn to see her staring at me, busting me spying on him following the bartender into the back. “He can drive you nuts, but he’ll always be your eyes on the ground when you’re high in the hills.”

I study her for a second. I know her and Scribe are close, which makes sense with what she’s saying. When you’re the sniper, you’re always away from the pack, and someone has to feed you intel. And that someone would of course be Scribe.

For me, it had only ever been Cas when she was helping me train. Trying to teach me everything she knows for me to be as good a shot as her. I’m not, but I’m getting close, and the training is paying off. But there had been sessions where she’d made me sit in the hills alone for hours with only her in my ear and my gun trained on one spot. Until my body started to throb with aches and pains. I never knew being stealth could hurt so much. But having someone with you in your ear helped. Pulled you through the hours. And I’m guessing that’s what they had when they were serving together or when she did jobs for the Ghost Riders. I’m trying to fill that role now because Cas is going to be MIA for a little while. Can’t lie on your stomach for hours with a baby bump. Not to mention my brother Vincent would lose his mind if she was on jobs now.

I just smile like I don’t have a problem with him, but her eyes study me, and I have a feeling she can see through me. She always seems to be able to do that, and she’s been trying to get me to do it, too. Always be seconds ahead of people. If you can read them, you will be able to anticipate their movements. And seconds matter when you’re behind the scope of a gun. I don’t think my eyes are as good as hers, not yet anyway, but I’ll keep trying. Any little knowledge she’s given me, I’ve soaked it up. It’s what I’ve always done. With my father, my brother, school, and now her. I’m hungry for it.

I hear her phone vibrate, and she pulls her eyes from mine and looks down at it. “Let’s go.” She jumps up from her chair seeming just as eager as I am.

I abandon my beer and follow her out of the bar, hopping into my truck. Like Cas, it’s hard to ride a chopper with some of the gear we carry around, and we’d been training all day and my cab was full of all kinds of shit.

I follow her down the road for about a mile until we reach club property. It’s nothing like you’d normally think, with unkempt land and chain-link fences. They handle this place with care. You can see it. This is their home, and they take pride in it.

The front of the property has a brick privacy fence, and it makes you wonder what’s behind it. Cas pulls up to the gate, enters her code, and waves me to go around her as the double iron gate swings open. I pass through, making sure it doesn’t close on me. I drive through a tree-lined driveway that’s about a half a mile long to the clubhouse, an old farm that’s been converted for the Ghost Riders.

I know the property used to belong to the Pres’s father before he passed, then Pres took it over. I’ve spent hours out here on the land with Cas training me. The whole property is littered with buildings. Some of them are used for businesses, one of which Cas owns herself. A gun range a little off to the east of the property that has a public entrance.

I pull up to the main house, which is huge. A few bikes are parked out front, and I recognize one right away. Scribe. I didn’t even see him leave. I thought he was still in the back of the bar. I pull myself from the truck as Cas pulls up next to me. I follow her in and see only Scribe and Savage sitting in the main area where everyone normally hangs. Savage is sitting on one of the sofas looking every bit of his name, taking up most of the thing with his massive bulk. He has a hard look on his face like he doesn’t really want to be here. Scribe is sitting in one of the stools at the old wooden bar with his computer open next to him.

His eyes come straight to me when he hears us enter. Then he shakes his head. I don’t know how the fuck he beat us here. I figured he’d still be in the back of the bar with the blonde. I inwardly smirk that his time got cut short because of the meeting being called.

“Don’t start,” Cas barks, a slash of heat behind her words. I guess she knows too that Scribe doesn’t like the idea of my being around.

“She’s not ready.” His eyes run over me. I never seem to get the funny, flirty Scribe everyone talks about. I only ever get distaste. We all know why we’re here. I know they’ve been talking about me coming into the Ghost Riders, and today is the day I find out if I’m in. If I get a shot.

I try not to flinch at his words, keeping my face impassive. I don’t want him thinking he bothers me one bit. He’s just like the boy on the playground when you’re a kid. If they know they get to you, they’ll keep doing it. You just have to ignore them. Or just punch them in the face. That trick worked, too. I have a feeling I’ll be doing that one soon. “

You questioning my judgment?” I hear Cas say from behind me as I make my way towards Scribe. His eyes stay on me, giving me a look I can’t quite make out. Good, you should keep looking at me, because I’m the one coming for you.

“She’s going to get herself hurt. Maybe even killed.” His eyes shoot over my shoulder at Cas, then back to me as my feet eat up the distance between us.

“We aren’t going to let anyone near her. She’ll be miles out from danger.” Cas is standing hard behind my being here.

“Doesn’t matter,” I say, sliding up next to him, taking the stool next to his and turning to face him. His musky sweet scent hits me, and I didn’t know a man could smell like both at the same time, but he does. “I don’t need to be miles away. I can handle myself right here,” I tell him, looking him dead in the eyes. “You don’t know me.” My words are flat, brooking no argument. It’s nice to be farther away from your target, but I learned at a younger age that isn’t always the case. Sometimes you have to be close. Sometimes life just gives you the option and you have to learn how to protect yourself in that moment, and I have.

“I know a lot more than you think.” He glances at his computer, then back at me. “In fact, I feel like I know almost everything.” A small smirk plays at his lips, and I wonder if that’s a trace of the flirting I’ve heard so much about. Does he think I’ll turn into some blushing girl in front of him and bat my eyelashes? Not happening. Not for him. Never for a man who doesn’t think I belong. I may not know shit about men in this area, but I know how the men in my life treat their women, and I want that.

“That so?” I scoot a little closer to him, wanting him to know I don’t care what he thinks. That he has no effect on me, even if that’s a total lie. I want him to know that I’m here and I’ll be all up in his fucking space and this place whether he likes it or not. “Just because you went through my life with your computer doesn’t mean you know shit.”

“I beg to differ.” He leans a little in himself. “You finished college in under three years, spending hours up late writing your papers and studying, that when you can’t sleep you read Harry Potter, and you like to scroll JJ Watt’s Twitter a little too much.” He says the last part with gritted teeth. “You’re too young to be here.”

All the things he said are true, except the part about me being too young, but that’s unimportant. These are things he shouldn’t be looking at. My personal fucking business. Has nothing to do with this club. I get they need to know shit about me, but that is just a little too intimate. He doesn’t have that privilege. I haven’t granted him that privilege.

I also don’t throw in his face that everyone in this room was fighting in a war when they were 18. I’m 21. I feel my age is just fine and not part of this equation because I can do what they need me to do and that’s all that matters.

I reach down, grabbing the knife out of my right boot and slamming the blade down into the wood of the bar, leaving the handle sticking up.

“Shit,” I hear from the other side of the room, but I don’t turn to look to see who said it. Neither does Scribe. He didn’t so much as blink. Not even when I pulled out the knife.

“You can’t see everything behind that computer,” I tell him, pulling the knife from the wood, still looking straight into his eyes as I lay my left hand, palm down flat, on the bar, fingers spread wide. I start to unhurriedly hit the blade between each finger, slowly picking up speed. Moving my right hand faster and faster as the knife lands between my fingers, hitting the wood of the bar. I’m sure it’s leaving nice little nicks each time it hits, but I don’t give a fuck. Finally, he pulls his eyes from mine and looks at my hand. “Not everything is as it appears on your little screen. I think someone like you would know that, because most of you are nothing like you seem.”

“Jesus Christ.” I hear another voice from the other side of the room again.

Scribe’s eyes are now studying my hand, but I still keep looking at him as I move the blade between my fingers with quick ease. I know what he’s going to do. He’s looking for the right moment to grab my hand, and just when he goes to grab me, I pull back, making him jump. It gives me an opening, and I slam the knife right into the center of the keyboard of his laptop. The light drains from the screen.

“Stay out of my fucking business,” I say as calmly as I can. I pull the knife from his keyboard and throw it across the room to the dartboard next to the pool table. I hit it square in the center. “I can handle myself,” I tell him, leaning in so I’m only a breath away. “Even better when I’m close up.”

Header Riding Him

WOW… I’ve been so looking forward to Knox’s story, and Alexa Riley more than delivered!
Knox tried to avoid this bone deep attraction to Violet, but even he was aware it was only a matter of time! And Violet felt exactly the same way, so when they finally clashed (it was an AWESOME scene) there was no going back for either of them! Not that they wanted that, LOL!
Violet was totally badass but still so incredibly feminine, and Knox knew just the perfect way to handle her! When though she was so strong and independent, between those two there was NO doubt who was the Alpha, and in control! They were fantastic and so incredibly HOT together!!! I LOVE a good hot computer geek, and Knox was that and then some! Sigh… <3

“I’m yours,” she breathes, gripping her legs tighter around my waist and giving over her control.
It’s the last piece of the puzzle I need from her, and now I’m complete. I want to own not only her body but her heart and her mind.

Synopsis

Abel Lockwood would do anything to become a father—including hiring a company that matches donor mothers with prospective fathers. Love Child caters to wealthy bachelors who’ve been unsuccessful in creating a family through traditional means. Despite Love Child being an unconventional route to take, the conception takes place exactly the way nature intended.

Nearing forty and still single, Abel has accepted he won’t meet the right woman to marry and have a family with, so Love Child is his last hope for becoming a father. He’s gone through the files of the potential donors and handpicked one perfect candidate to create his baby with.

The moment he comes face to face with Adeline Matthews, Abel knows she’s the one. But not just the one he’s hoping to make a baby with. She’s the one he’s hoping to create a family with.

Excerpt

Giving a terse nod, her head twisted back around as she stood, moving toward my closet. “I’ll hang these up and give you some privacy.”

She was flustered. I could tell from the pitch of her hips and the tone of her voice. I loved how I already could sense her emotions. How I felt like I had the pad of my finger pressed into the pulse of her feelings.

“I don’t want privacy. Not from you, Adeline. The rest of the world, fine, but the last thing I want from you right now is for you to give me some privacy.”

Following her into my walk-in closet, I hovered in the doorway. She knew I was there, so she hung my suits and kept turned away.

“I wanted to take a shower first. I wanted to change into something different.” She pinched the hem of her dress, lifting it as she inspected it like it was subpar. “I wanted to get all ready for tonight, to be ready for you.”

My throat tightened at her words. “The woman standing in front of me right now is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. There is nothing you could do to be more beautiful than you are right now.”

She let the hem of her dress fall, inspecting her palms. Adeline’s hands were strong and had the calluses to prove it. To look at her, she was as fragile as a bird, but to know her, she was the strongest thing around. “I’m plain. Perfectly ordinary. You don’t have to try to convince me otherwise. I’m happy with who I am, but please don’t lie to me. You don’t have to tell me I’m beautiful to get me to sleep with you. I already agreed to that.”

How could she not see it? How did she not know? Moving closer, I fought the urge to wrap my arms around her and pull her to me. “I’m telling you that because it’s the truest thing I’ve ever known. Not because I’m lying to you or trying to get you to sleep with me or any reason other than because it’s the truth.” I let my hand slide around her waist.

She trembled but didn’t shy away. “I wanted tonight to be special.”

Unable to fight the urge to be near her, I stepped closer until my chest was pressing into her back. My perma-hard dick jutted between us, nudging her in the ass. She flinched, but instead of moving away, she moved closer until her soft, full backside was pressed into my crotch.

A ragged breath hissed from me when I felt the warmth of her skin through the material of her dress, heating my cock. “This is going to be special no matter how or where we do it, no matter what you’re wearing or not wearing. You’re giving me the gift of your virginity. That’s special.”

Sliding her hair behind her back, I lowered my mouth to her neck to taste it. She gave a little whimper when I sucked at the delicate skin. I knew I shouldn’t have, but damn, I couldn’t help putting my mark on her. She tasted just like I’d expected—sweet like cherries, with a hint of innocence.

“I’m about to put my baby inside of you,” I breathed against her. “That is the most fucking special thing in this whole world. Just relax, baby. This will be special. This will be perfect. Because I’m sharing it with you.”

She started breathing faster when my arm wound around her, securing her tiny body against mine. Her heavy chest spilled out above my arm, making my balls ache with what I’d built up just for her.

“I don’t know what I’m doing,” she whispered even as her ass started to wiggle up and down my length until her cheeks were essentially fucking me through her dress.

My hand curled into a fist, my teeth gritting as I forced myself to hold off. It would serve no purpose to cum all over her ass when I was trying to get her pregnant.

“I don’t think I’ll be very good at first. Just tell me what to do . . . show me what you need.” Her breathy voice, matched with her ass working me over, became too much. I had to step back to keep from losing it all over that pretty floral dress.

“Adeline, baby”—I twisted her around so I could look in her eyes—“you are perfect in every way. From the way you smile to the way you laugh to the way you’re going to fuck. Enough worrying. Just relax and let me take care of you.”

Header Love Child

This story was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!

Yes, the plot concept is a bit outside de box, which was so refreshing, but it was perfectly executed and I loved every second of it!!!

Abel was the absolute perfect hero, and ladies, be prepared, with this combination of sweet, sexy, dirty talker and wanting a BABY… Ovary explosion guaranteed!!! That’s all I’ll say on him. It went directly to my list of best book-boyfriends! Sigh…

She wasn’t just the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen—she was the most beautiful thing to have ever been created. Sweet smile, angelic face, innocent demeanor—perfection was hovering ten feet in front of me.

Adeline was just as amazing, strong but innocent, and just as incredibly sweet and loving. Truly born with a nurturing nature: the perfect match for Abel – which he realized at very first sight. And fought for, with everything within his power.

I’d never expected to find someone like Adeline through an arrangement with Love Child, but here she was, everything I’d ever wanted. Everything I’d been looking for. Willing my body to mate with hers, begging me to give her the kind of pleasure no man had, offering to create a child with me so I could know the gift of fatherhood. Adeline was so much more than the mother of my child. She was the great love of my life.

And the chemistry, Lordy… These two were so HOT together, as they were incredibly sweet!!! Yes, they had a ‘mission’ in their hands (LOL), but that didn’t detract from the sizzling scenes, quite the contrary! Since they were emotionally invested in the very start, this extra element added a loving and caring layer to the steaminess of the scenes. And this dirty talking was the perfect cherry on top (pun intended)! 😉

“It’s taking every fiber of willpower I have in my possession not to lay you down right here on the kitchen floor and plant my baby in your virgin womb.”

And that delicious twist almost by the end, that is becoming Kat’s trademark, couldn’t have been a better surprise!!! I’m completely addicted to Kat Austen’s fantastic stories and I can’t wait for the next!
In my opinion, this one was PERFECT!!! <3 <3 <3

Synopsis

In an instant, my world turned upside down
Because of one incident, my life will never be the same
Every day I struggled to breathe
Every day I went through the motions
I felt too much
I was numb
I was drowning
I was lost inside the black
So they made me go there
I was already there, watching from the dark
And then I met him
And then I saw her
He scared me to death
She took my breath away
He was darkness
She was my light
They whispered he can’t be touched
She was the only one I could touch
I couldn’t be with him, they needed me
I fucking needed her
So I told him I would be his friend
I told her I would be her friend. For now.
But I couldn’t resist him for long
She finally realized that she’ll always be mine
We were a hot mess
We were the perfect kind of mess
Then reality dawned on me
Then my demons broke loose
I was underwater, trying to break through to the surface
I reached out my hand, trying to pull her to shore
Could he really help me?
Would she accept me, scars and all?
This was us
This was our story

Excerpt

“Aria?”

My body tensed, as I watched the motherfucker who’d touched her coming our way.

“Oh, hey Brian.”

His tall frame loomed over her while he stood with his hands inside his front pockets. He was built, and if I were a chick, I would probably think he looked decent. He had curly blond hair, blue eyes and tan skin. He looked like a freaking copy of a Ken-doll. Fucking cliché. I hated him already.

“We’re all going to have a drink at a nearby bar. You wanna come?”

I didn’t want her to go anywhere with him, but if she decided to go there was nothing I could do about it. All I could do was bite my tongue and pray she would say no.

“That’s sweet of you, Brian, but I can’t today. I’m sorry.”

“Oh, yeah… sure. Maybe some other time?”

He looked disappointed, yet hopeful she would say yes.

Did I mention I hated this fucker?

“Yeah, maybe,” she mumbled.

He smiled, nodded, and turned around, leaving with the rest of the group waiting for him.

“Fucker,” I said under my breath.

“What?”

Shit. “Um… nothing.”

She looked at me with questioning eyes. ”What’s going on?”

I sighed. “Don’t date him.” The words tumbled out of my mouth without permission. I winced, knowing I sounded like a fucking mental case.

“Whoa… who said I was going to date him? He was just being friendly.”

I laughed humorlessly. “That guy doesn’t have one friendly thought about you. I can promise you that.”

I didn’t have friendly thoughts about her either. But right now, the thought of her with him – or anyone else for that matter – made my blood boil.

She shook her head. “You’re overreacting, but alright, I won’t date him. Geez… happy?”

“No,” I growled.

“What?” She sounded annoyed.

I didn’t care. I was on a roll. My hands settled on either side of her chair, caging her in. “I don’t want you to date anyone else.”

 “Excuse me?”

Fuck. This was not going well.

“I need you to promise me that you won’t date someone else. I said I would be your friend, and I will. But you need to know…” My head inched closer until I was in her face. “I want more. I want you. I promise I’ll wait for you until you’re ready for me. But please…” I pleaded. I fucking begged, “Don’t date other people. I couldn’t bear it.”

Header Underwater

Underwater was the most beautiful and heartfelt story I have read in a long time, a true emotional ride.

Aria has been fighting so hard to keep all her family afloat, since her father’s cancer diagnose, and at the same time fighting alone to keep all her pain inside herself.

This kind of pain is not a foreign concept to Dorian. He has been dealing, without true success, with all the ghosts from his time in the military. His visible scars aren’t really the deepest and problematic ones, but coupled with his demeanor, they tend to keep people away, enabling his detachment of the world and loneliness. Until the day, Arial crosses his path – and does seem bothered by his defense/protective mechanism – and gives a new meaning to his existence…

The day started like any other. I never imagined I would meet this girl at any stage of my miserable life, much less today. She was like a ray of light shining through the dark cage I was hidden in, brightening up my fucking universe.

Teaser 2 Underwater

Aria is just as instantly drawn to him as he is to her. He intrigues and attracts her like no one did before, and even though she thinks this isn’t the right time, she can’t fight her feelings.

I wanted him away. I wanted him close. I wanted everything and nothing.

Both Aria and Dorian are such amazing characters! They suffered and still do, but they show an incredible amount of strength, understanding and LOVE!!! Yes, they are broken and individuals, but together, they couldn’t be more complete.

“You two are really good for each other.”

 He was right.

 Alone, we were broken pieces.

Together, we were whole.

Yes, they aren’t perfect, but for me, as a reader they couldn’t have been more PERFECT!!! Aria was so compassionate, with such a caring and loving nature, and so incredibly strong, specially for her family. But with Dorian, she allowed her pain and vulnerability to show, and him to become her rock, her partner, her love. That and Aria’s love was all needed to give a new purpose to his life. From the very beginning she was special and unique to him, and he never failed to let her (and us) know. He was one of deeply romantic heroes I have ever read, we could really feel his love and how much she meant to him.

“All you have to do is touch me,” he murmured, his eyes glimmering with awe. “And my world is right again.”

“For years,” he said, “I didn’t feel a thing. Absolutely nothing. Then you walked through that door and I couldn’t see anything but you.”

He never once doubted their love and connection and had me literally swooning all along their story. He gives a whole new meaning to perfect imperfect.

I truly can’t express how in love I am with these characters. They are so beautifully developed I couldn’t think of one single thing I would change about them. That’s how perfect they are, specially together! We feel that they were meant to be, two broken soul s that destiny brought together to feel complete as one! <3

Teaser 1 Underwater

This was such an amazing story which shows us, in depth, so many kinds of love, in the most beautiful and realistic manner. It’s an emotionally heavy read given all the subplots, like her father’s – and her family – struggle with cancer, his torture while in captivity in the hands of the enemy and subsequent PTSD, that brought me to tears more than once, roof of Maayan incredible writing and story telling talent.

I know that this story is very close to her heart, and I’m sure it’s part of the reason for this stellar and successful debut novel. This partly biographical character of the book showed incredible courage and gave so much richness to the story that really transported us to feeling her pain, suffering, and devastation upon her father’s cancer. So thank you for sharing this beautiful and touching novel with all of us!

This start couldn’t have been better, in my opinion, and I’m so looking forward to the second book, which I’m sure will be equally as fantastic (and maybe even take one more look into these two’s life like it’s hinted on the snippet of the next one – please Maayan, we want even more Aria and Cole!) !

“I love you,” I said. I dropped my hands to her lower back, drawing her body securely against mine until we were both sitting on the grass, swings long forgotten. “I love you more than words can say and emotions can express. I love you more than my eyes can see, and more than my hands can feel.” I kissed her. “I love you every second, minute, and hour of each day, and I know that no matter what happens to us in the future, these feelings I have for you will never change.”

About the Author
I am twenty-six years old and I live in a small town in Israel.
My family and I were going through some difficult times not too long ago and one day I was confiding in my best-friend about everything. I didn’t know how to deal with it all. Then she suggested I should write a book about it. I looked at her as if she had grown another head and dismissed the idea on the spot. But the seed had been planted, and day after day, little by little, without realizing it – I started writing.
That’s how Underwater was born.
I found writing to be cathartic, healing.  Something that helped my mind unwind and put things in perspective. I discovered a magical world where I traveled between imagination and reality. Writing became my home and I never wanted to leave.
I love to read, write, listen to music, edit videos, and play the guitar. I am always looking for the next creative thing. I also like a good movie and a glass of wine.

Abel

I was minutes away from meeting the woman who would become the mother of my child. Rather, the woman who would likely become the mother of my child.

Her file had set her apart from the rest. Adeline Matthews. I felt like I knew so much about her without having ever exchanged a word with her. I felt like I knew exactly what she must look like, though I’d never laid eyes on her.

My instinct told me this was the woman who would be the mother of my baby, so now all it came down to was hammering out the terms and signing the contract. The agency would help out with that, and of course our lawyers would add their expertise into the mix, but if all went well, by the end of the day, I would be that much closer to becoming a father.

Being a father. It would be my most important legacy and my proudest achievement. God knew the journey to get here had been my greatest challenge.

When the elevator doors chimed open on the top floor of one of the high-rises in downtown Chicago, I was met by both my attorney and the creator-slash-CEO of Love Child, Suzanne Reynolds.

Suzanne had stepped back from the successful company she’d grown from the ground up, but I’d heard she made the occasional appearance for a high profile client. I didn’t consider myself high profile, though I supposed my name carried a certain degree of influence in the upper stratum thanks to the generations of Lockwoods building an empire in commercial development.

“Mr. Lockwood”—Suzanne greeted me with a smile—“happy to meet you.”

“Likewise, Ms. Reynolds,” I replied, shaking her hand when she extended it. The woman had one hell of a handshake. “Have you met my attorney, Tom Bainbridge?”

She nodded. “Yes, Tom and I have worked together on several prior matches. He’s a great attorney to have in your corner.”

“That’s what he reminds me of every time he sends me the bill for his services at the end of the month.” I nudged Tom as Suzanne directed us past the front desk. “‘If you want the best, you pay for the best.’”

Suzanne cocked her brow, smiling. “No offense to Mr. Bainbridge, but my attorneys are better.”

Beside me, Tom snorted good-naturedly. The guy had been in the business long enough that insults rolled right over him.

“Keep that in mind, Mr. Lockwood, when and if you meet the right donor today,” Suzanne continued. “Don’t get so caught up in negotiating price and terms that you lose her. You’ve selected a handful of my top donor candidates. Consider that when you make your offer.” Moving up beside her, I made sure she was looking at me when I replied. “I’m not bargain shopping for the mother of my child, Ms. Reynolds. The terms are what concern me. Not the price.”

“Glad to hear it.” She waved at a woman who looked about to have a baby any day now. I could only imagine how ecstatic the father must be. Hell, I was ecstatic at the possibility of having a child soon—I couldn’t imagine how I’d feel days away from the actual birth.

We continued quietly down the hall. There wasn’t much left to say. I knew how this all worked, and I was ready to move forward.

The décor of Love Child’s office was no different from any other prestigious company’s offices I’d been in: modern refinements, piercing functionality, and neutral colors. But hanging from the walls were pictures of past clients with the child or children they’d had with the aid of Love Child. Every single one of those men was not only a client but an investor in the privately held company. After today, hopefully I’d be the newest member. God knew I was ready.

We all believed in the gap Love Child had managed to fill. A woman could go to a sperm bank and have a child all on her own. A couple could have a child through numerous different outlets. But a man—a single man—had limited options if he wanted to become a father on his own. He could hire a surrogate, which wasn’t as cut-and-dried as most people thought; he could try to adopt, which was nearly impossible in the best of circumstances; or he could jump through the legal hoops involved with shared custody. But if he wanted to be a single parent without complications, he had no choices.

Or at least he hadn’t until Love Child’s inception.

That was why every man who became a client agreed to become an investor—because we were all committed to the mission this company embodied. We were just as committed to keeping it a secret from the public eye. The media would have spun the hell out of it until everything about this respected company became tarnished by slanderous labels and lewd accusations.

They’d see us as a bunch of wealthy men preying upon innocent young woman. We’d be painted as entitled bigots, believing the world and the people in it were our ice cream truck to point at what we wanted and hand over the price in exchange.

Society wouldn’t understand. It wouldn’t want to understand. People wouldn’t see that the men who had found their way to Love Child’s door were decent, hardworking individuals who would give every last dime to have a child. People wouldn’t be willing to understand that the women who carried our children weren’t being taken advantage of but were revered and appreciated far beyond any sum of money.

Society wouldn’t embrace Love Child’s mission. And that was why you’d never hear about it on the evening news or overhear someone mention someone they knew having used its services.

People wouldn’t understand. But I didn’t give a shit.

I wanted to become a father, and the traditional way of becoming one had been painful and unsuccessful.

When we stopped outside a closed door, Suzanne paused with her hand on the door. “Adeline Matthews. She has five other interviews with would-be fathers this week. I know you mentioned she was your top pick, but she told me she won’t be making a final decision until she’s met with all of the clients.”

My jaw set. I didn’t like the idea of the potential mother of my child meeting with five other men to discuss the same topic. “If I decide she’s the right one, I think you’ll find I can be quite persuasive.”

Suzanne held her half smile, her eyes suggesting she knew something I didn’t. “You might want to make sure your persuasion comes from the heart in Miss Matthews’s case and not from your checkbook.”

I found myself almost smiling back. I liked Suzanne Reynolds. She was nearing retirement age but still acted like she’d barely entered the workforce. She ran a tight ship, cared about what she did, and worked as hard as I did. That might have explained why we were both single and without children of our own.

The job had become our spouse, the schedule our offspring. At first, it hadn’t seemed like much of a sacrifice to me. Hitting thirty-five had changed my opinion on that though. No job could warm a bed. No amount of money could fill a house with laughter.

No, I’d been a fool to place my career before a family. At least now I had a chance to remedy that.

“Ready?” Suzanne asked.

“Since I signed my name on the application paperwork three months, eleven days, and . . .”—my gaze dropped to my watch—“two hours ago.”

When Suzanne opened the door, she waved Tom and me in first. Two people were already seated at the long table. One of them stood and shook hands with Tom. The other took a few seconds before she stood. It almost looked like she was trying to gather her courage as she sucked in a deep breath.

Suzanne fired off introductions, but her voice disappeared the moment my eyes fell on Adeline Matthews. The breath I’d been in the middle of hitched in my chest, feeling like it was straining against my ribs.

When she stood—her big brown eyes looking straight into mine—it wasn’t only my lungs and heart reacting to her. She wasn’t just the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen—she was the most beautiful thing to have ever been created. Sweet smile, angelic face, innocent demeanor—perfection was hovering ten feet in front of me.

She was petite but had the type of body that was hard to come by in this day and age of size zero clothing and thigh gap goals. She had a woman’s body. Curves, shape, and a soft, feminine quality that was not making me think innocent things about Miss Matthews. All I could focus on was the way her body would feel against mine, the way her curves would look silhouetted against my bedroom wall, the way her light, wavy hair would looked spilled across my pillow as I moved above her, planting my baby inside her.

That was another reason for the clandestine nature of Love Child—the process of actually creating the baby wasn’t done in a laboratory. Conception didn’t take place in a petri dish, and a fertilized egg wasn’t procedurally implanted inside of the mother’s body.

No, the mother became pregnant the old-fashioned way. The way nature had intended. That was the main reason I’d gone with Love Child instead of searching for a surrogate mother. I didn’t want my baby’s moment of creation to occur in a cold, sterile environment. I wanted my baby to be created from warmth and passion. Emotion and feeling. Connection and combustion.

The actual sex had been of less concern to me than the thought process behind it. But now, seeing Adeline, I was looking forward to the sex. I was really looking forward to the sex.

This was her. The mother of my child. My god, I’d never been so certain of anything in my entire life. I was looking at the woman who would bear my child, who would give me the most precious gift of my existence.

The urge to power around the table and wrap her up in my arms or throw myself at her feet became intense enough I feared moving closer. I didn’t want to start off the meeting by making a fool of myself and ruining the entire thing.

I couldn’t ruin this. Adeline would be the mother to my baby. I knew this with absolute certainty.

Now all I had to do was convince her.

“Miss Matthews, thank you for agreeing to meet with me.” When my voice rolled over her, I noticed her hands curl at her sides.

Was she frightened by me? Startled by my voice? I had to be twice her size. I’d been told plenty of times that my deep voice could be on the sharp side of commanding, but couldn’t she tell? Couldn’t she hear it in my voice?

She had nothing to fear from me. My goal, from this moment on, was to protect her. From threats, pain, disappointment . . . from a damn mosquito that dared to get too close. The overwhelming urge to protect her consumed me.

We’d agreed to nothing. She’d barely made eye contact yet. But I already felt savagely possessive of her.

Like hell she was meeting with five other men. If I couldn’t get her to commit to me today, I’d find out who the other five were and have them removed from her schedule. Through whatever means necessary.

Adeline Matthews was mine.

She was about to know it too.

Synopsis

Being part of rival families wasn’t enough to stop the passion between Brandon DeLuca and Carly O’Reilly. They’ve defied the odds and prevailed together as a couple, the first female to lead her Irish mob family and the Italian enforcer who stands by her side. When one of her enemies tries to use Carly as a pawn in an attempt to gain power, Brandon is out for blood—saving Carly isn’t enough.

Please note: Brandon & Carly’s romance is a three-part story, but there are no relationship cliffhangers.

Header Passion

PASSION, the conclusion of Brandon and Carly’s story was… PERFECT!!!

From the very beginning this couple gave us everything! From the denial of their feeling sin the very beginning (actually in the original Mafia Ties series), to their unshakable devotion, we honestly felt everything with them…

“I was sucking in air, trying to get my heart rate to return to normal. But then, there really was no normal when it came to my wife. If my heart wasn’t racing with need, it was bursting with love.”

Carly was a fantastic heroine: strong, sassy and with an hidden innocent nature that made us feel for her and her awful past. BUT Brandon… that was a whole new level of hotness! Fiona Davenport’s heroes have quickly taken a very special place in my book-boyfriend universe! They are my very favorite kind: loyal beyond any doubt and completely devoted to their heroines, loving without measure, and the best DIRTY TALKERS! I just can get enough of them and I’m anxiously awaiting to see the next OTT Alpha these ladies are going to come up with!

Teaser Passion 1

I loved the fast pace of this short trilogy, and this last part reinforced that. The suspenseful cliffhanger (no OTT angst) is very quickly solved in the beginning of this installment, and then there is plenty of delicious stuff to keep us hooked, if you know what I mean (LOL), and to close up perfectly we have a wonderfully executed epilogue with the guaranteed HEA, that leaves us with that good feeling in our hearts and a smile on our face.

Amazing main characters like these and equally great secondary characters (will we have a book for the hot and loyal Irish Tommy?! Pretty please?!) are the foundation of these books. Add that to the suspense and danger of this mafia underground world and an EXTRAORDINARY love story – coupled with some of the hottest sex scenes I have ever had the pleasure (wink, wink) of reading – resulted, like I mentioned before, in this PERFECT trilogy!

“ I had never longed for this life. A wife, baby, home; these were things that seemed almost abstract, something I might have in the future, but had none of my focus at the moment.
But, standing there, holding my wife and our baby, on the deck of our picturesque home, I realized there was nothing I would ever want more.”

Excerpt

My eyes strayed to the doorway once again and Ma laughed, prompting me to return my attention to her.

“She’ll be back any minute, Brandon. She’s not going to run away from you.”

If she only knew…

I wasn’t really worried about her running. I was confident Carly loved me. But with every passing minute she didn’t arrive back in the room, my gut tightened, my instincts screaming that something was wrong.

“Brandon!”

My head whipped around and my heart stopped as Thomas yelled my name, racing into the room alone, his face awash with alarm.

I didn’t give him a chance to get out another word as I took off for the front doors, yelling orders to my men to find her. I heard Nic doing the same with his own and was more grateful than ever for our alliance.

Bursting out into the twilight, my head swiveled from side to side, taking in everything around me. I heard the screech of tires and caught a glimpse of a long black limousine barreling around a corner several blocks away. I felt my chest split open as I lost sight of it, positive it was carrying my heart away.

Nic called to me as a he raced towards a parked car. “I’ve got this, you find out what’ s going on. I called Breck, he’s going to hack the GPS on the limo.” I barely got in a nod of acknowledgment before he was burning rubber down the street with three more cars following behind. They would split up and take different routes, hoping to cross paths with the runaway vehicle.

Nic’s friend Brecken was a security specialist and had resources we didn’t have access to. He’d been invaluable when we’d been protecting Anna several weeks before. It gave me a tiny level of comfort to have him on our side once again.

Thomas was suddenly at my side and I spun around, fisting my hands in his dress shirt, pulling his face up to mine, which lifted him a couple of inches off of his feet.

“What the fuck happened?” I ground out, doing everything I could to tamp down the rising need to pulverize someone.

He shook his head, his eyes filled with guilt and fear, some of it directed at me, but I could tell it was mostly from concern for the woman we both loved, albeit in very different ways. “She needed to use the bathroom and I told Greg to watch out for her while I took a piss. When I came out they were both gone and Greg’s comm was off.”

“Who the fuck is Greg?” I roared, shaking Thomas violently.

“He’s one of my men. I’ve known him my whole life. I didn’t think—”

“No,” I interrupted, “you didn’t fucking think! I don’t know him. I specifically instructed you not to leave the safety of my wife with anyone who wasn’t on the list I gave you. Where is he?”

“He’s—he’s gone too,” Thomas stuttered.

I dropped him and delved my fingers into my hair, pulling the strands in an effort to keep from killing him.

“Sean won’t hurt her,” he insisted. “He’s after power and the easiest way to gain it is by marryin’ Carly.”

“She’s already fucking married!” I bellowed.

“There are ways around that.”

“Over my dead body,” I growled.

“Yeah, that’s one of the ways. The other would be an annulment.”

Header Power

And Brandon and Carly’s fantastic adventure continues…

After handling her father’s death (or better, well deserved sentence), Carly has a huge battle ahead of her, in order to get fully established as head of the O’Reilly family and clean up the shadier side of the organization. It’s quite a tasking and dangerous job that lays ahead for her, but she’s not alone! Brandon’s love and full dedication to her reveals itself even more important on this time.

“You won’t be standing behind the DeLuca enforcer; you’ll be standing beside your husband. But, behind your protector. Your enforcer. In order to get to you, everyone will go through me.”

But not only is serious and dangerous on this second book, because believe me when I say that this little treat is FULLY packed with some scorching, of volcanic proportions, HOT sex scenes!!! So much so, that I feel I should warn my fellow readers so that they’re aware of the requirement of any cooling off system while reading, or a some ingenious way to put all that heat to good use (wink, wink 😉 )! It was that really that STEAMY!!!

Teaser Power

Without giving too much away, this second book focus on the restructuration of the organization, the strengthening of Brandon and Carly’s relationship, the meeting with Brandon’s amazing family – including some hot potential Hs for future books, yes, now I want to know more about them! – and the preparation for their wedding. The exact point where these teasing ladies, Fiona Davenport, left us again on the edge of out seats and more than ready and anxious to get the final part of this couple’s story!!!

“But you, Carly O’Reilly soon-to-be DeLuca, mean more to me than my cousin ever could. You’re my heart. My future. My everything. I’ll be damn proud to offer you my support and protection. To make sure you never come to harm. And to fucking do whatever needs to be done to make sure you and the family we build together thrives.”

Excerpt

“You’re lucky I love your sassy side,” he murmured as he got up on his knees. “And that I’m beyond ready to feel your hot pussy wrapped around my cock.”

He flipped me over and tilted my hips up, slapping me hard on my ass. I yelped at the sting, and levered up onto my elbows so I could glare at him over my shoulder. “That doesn’t mean I won’t punish you for disobeying me. You might be a boss out there, but I’m the one who’s in charge in here.”

I wanted to argue, but what could I really say? We both damn well knew how hot it made me when he went all alpha caveman in the bedroom. Then he sank inside me, and I lost all train of thought. All his sensual torture had left me incredibly sensitive, to the point that it felt like I could feel every ridge and inch of his cock as it stretched me.

“Then fuck me like you own me.”

Balls deep inside me, he paused in his movements to look down at me. “You’re almost right. I’m gonna fuck you because I own you. There’s no like about it. You’re mine.”

Synopsis

There are rules to life that one just obeys in order in her attempt stay on the right path. For example:

1. You don’t wear dirty panties out of the house. You just never know who’s going to see them.

2. A lady must always have chocolate at the ready—just in case the world as she knows it comes to an end.

3. You don’t egg on a drunk woman who’s pissed off at life.

Why, you ask? Because they start bar fights, that’s why.

Casten Red, the unofficial enforcer of The Uncertain Saints MC, wasn’t necessarily trying to urge her into doing anything illegal, and he definitely wasn’t trying to get her into a fight with a group of men who were all twice her size.

No, he only intended to give her the confidence to stand up for herself, just a little nudge in the right direction. How the hell was he supposed to know she’d go all Chuck Norris on them and put three of them in the hospital with concussions?

He should’ve followed his gut instinct and turned around that first moment he saw her in the bar, but Casten has never liked following the rules.

Why the hell would he start now?

“You’re dilly dallying,” Casten growled.
I turned around, bag in one hand, and papers in the other, and glared.
“What makes you think that I don’t have a fuckin’ reason for doing what I do?” I growled.
He held up his hands.
“Down tiger,” he said soothingly, although his eyes flashed, telling a different story.
I shoved the rest of my things in my bag, bending them to hell and back, but I couldn’t seem to find the urge to care at that moment in time.
I walked past him, knocking his shoulder, and headed to the back hallway to turn off the last of the lights.
I hit the first two in the in the locker room before heading to the last one in the entire gym area at the bathroom entrance.
But before I could hit the lights, my hand was stilled by Casten’s.
“What’s your problem?” he asked.
I tried to rip my hand free from his grip, but he held on without even the least bit of effort.
“I’m pissed,” I growled.
“Why?” he countered.
I looked across the room at the mirror, and glared at his reflection.
“I don’t want to tell you why I’m pissed. Suffice it to say, you’re the reason, and that’s that,” I growled.
He tightened his hands on my wrists.
“That’s not it. Tell me fuckin’ why, or I’ll make you tell me,” he hissed.
My fists clenched.
“Because you fucking pouted last night instead of talking to me. Then made Core spend the night and take me to work, when I didn’t want him to be there. I wanted you to be there. But you were being a titty baby,” I yelled.
He moved me until my ass met the counter, crowding so close that I was sure he was either going to beat me or fuck me.
Hopefully the latter over the former, if I had a choice.
“Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!” I exclaimed.
I waited.
Nothing.
“Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there!” I cried.
I waited.
Again, nothing.
“Shit,” I said, opening my eyes.
“Done?” Casten asked from where he’d trapped me against the bathroom counter.
“My clothes are getting wet. In fact, I think my pants are soaked all the way through,” I grumbled, leaning forward until my upper body was laying across the counter.
Casten sat up until all that was touching me were his hips, where his massive erection dug into my ass.
“You’re cute,” he said, reaching up and pulling my hair out of my ponytail.
I glared. “I’m not cute.”
He grabbed my face and turned it to face the mirror.
His hands were squeezing my face so I looked like I had ten chin rolls and lips three sizes too big.
“See,” he said. “Cute.”

Header Vodka on the Rocks

Casten life revolves around his MC and his businesses. A woman is not part of the equation, not does he desire it to be, so when he mets Tasha, and is instantly attracted to the brunette he tries his best to avoid his feelings and specially not showing them to her.

And each time I saw her, it became harder and harder to resist her.

 But I would.

Because I couldn’t have a woman.

 Women and I didn’t mix.

Tasha may seem like a carefree ball of energy, with her large number of degrees, but deep down she his hidden a deep pain from  her past, that left scars as ingrained as Casten’s injury in combat did on him.

But you know what they say about two broken souls together… It is indeed true, and once Casten accept what was in plain site for anyone to see – that Tasha was his one -, and fought for her and to protect her against a dangerous stalker, it was incredible to see their relationship develop. But specially the way they delivered themselves to each other.

“All I wanted was to be free, to live my life without commitment. But now all I can think about is you. How you’re feeling. What you’re fucking doing. You’ve worked your way into every single one of the cracks in my armor, and I don’t think I’ll ever get you the fuck out or that I even want to,” (Casten to Tasha)

I have to say that Tasha, the heroine, was definitely my favorite character of the story, her strength and sassiness, and her hidden fragility made her steal the show for me, which I loved! Casten was  also a fantastic character, and the badass bearded MC hottie role, fitted him to T, but some attitudes he took, and the pushing away, got a bit on my nerves, and made me a bit less sympathetic to him. Don’t get me wrong, he was still a delicious hero, I just wished he had done things a bit differently. But, like I said, he also had a lot of caring (as you can see in the quotes) and wickedly sexy moments – sizzling HOT sex scenes – with and towards Tasha, so still the HOT king of the story! LOL 😉

And those secondary characters, wow!!! Lani, really, it’s evil to tease us like this!!! We get an insight into the life of the MCs of the previous books, but also some enticing snippets into the upcoming characters, one more delicious than the other, that leave us counting the days until the release of their story!

It was an amazing story, as per Lani Lynn Vale’s usual, with all the exciting, funny, romantic, and sexy elements we want in our Romance, and that Lani’s special ‘touch’ that makes us completely devour it in one sitting.

And now, bring on THE BAD APPLE!!!

“No. Because I liked you too much. You’re Trouble, with a capital T. You’ll ruin me.” He ran his lips along my belly. “You’ll put me back together, but you’ll be a part of me when you’re through, and I’ll never be able to function without you ever again. Forever.” (Casten to Tasha)

Synopsis

Derek aka Phoenix is a New York City firefighter and has dedicated his life to saving people. When he loses two of his men in the line of duty, he doesn’t know if he’ll be able to see the light again.

However, when an angel in the form of a woman named Fia appears before him, his world as he knows it is turned upside down.

Fia has been working hard to make money so she can finish her last semester of school. A fire in her building sets her back to square one, but the fireman who saves her turns out to be more than she ever expected.

Once he gets his arms around her, there’s no letting go. Because when you’ve got your forever in your arms, nothing else matters.

Warning: This is hot and fast insta-love that ignites the pages. It’s burning heat that combusts into an inferno of lava. Okay, that’s all the fire words I could come up with. Now insert a pun about a big hose. It’s quick, dirty, and ridiculously over the top.

Excerpt

Chapter 1

*Fia*

“You finish your shit, Fia?”

Sam’s gravelly voice from years of smoking barks from behind me as I hang up the phone in his back office. A mixture of annoyance and relief fills me. I really didn’t want to have to cover Kim’s shift at the women’s shelter tonight and was thankful she was able to make it in. I would have done it if they needed me; I’d do anything for that place. But I’m dead on my feet as it is. I’ve been on my feet for the past twelve hours and haven’t slept in over twenty-four, and it would be my luck that if I went back to the shelter, it would be a busy night.

“Already clocked out.” I turn to look at Sam, whose eyes are trained on my ass. He slowly pulls them up to my face as a smirk plays at his lips, showing off his yellow-tinted teeth, not a care that he’s openly running his eyes over my body. Sadly, I’ve become used to it. It still creeps me out, but he’s never tried anything.

Or maybe my luck is about to change, I think, as he shuts the door to his office, trapping me in. The door is always open. The waitresses here at Moe’s always keep our stuff stored back here, where we clock in and out for our shifts.

“You think about my offer?” He cocks his head to the side like he’s giving me the world, not a management position at the diner. I’d stay later after waiting tables and help with paperwork and orders and get a raise, but I think Sam has a few more strings he wants to add to the position things I want no part of. I’ve turned down the offer twice now, but he keeps telling me to think on it.

Normally I just mumble a, “no, thanks,” on my way out the door, but now it’s closed and I’m trapped. Trapped with a man twice my age, maybe even pushing three times my age. It’s hard to tell with his shaved head. He’s double my size, and I don’t mean in muscle or height. No, there’s a lot of gut on old Sam.

“I really don’t have the time.” I tell him the same thing I’ve said every time it’s been brought up. At least, not without giving up my shifts at the shelter, and that’s not something I’m willing to do, even if the pay is way worse over there. I love that shelter. I owe them so much after what they did for my mother and me. I’m just thankful they pay me at all, because I would do it for free. I hope that one day I can do it for free, but at the moment that just isn’t possible if I want to keep a roof over my head and food on my plate.

“We’ll cut your serving time,” he suggests, taking a step towards me. I try to match his in retreat but only hit the desk. I don’t want to cut my serving hours only to spend more time with him in his cramped little office alone. Hell, I’ve been in here for two minutes and I feel like I’m having a panic attack. I can feel my heartbeat pick up speed. My anxiety grows with each pull of my breath. I know all too well how men act when they don’t get the responses they want. I’ve seen it for years with my own father and how he treated my mother.

I just shake my head again, trying to push the words past my lips. “I really” My words are cut short when Tracy throws open the door.

“Who in the hell put the” She stops abruptly when she sees us both standing in the tiny office. Her eyes narrow, going back and forth between us. Tracy has been working at the diner for years. She trained me a few months back, and many might even think she owns the place by how she pushes everyone around. And I’m pretty sure she and Sam have a thing. I stay out of her way. I want my tables and tips and nothing more from this place. It’s a means to an end. A slow means, but I’m getting there, dollar by dollar, and this place has the best tips I’ve come across so far, so I put up with it.

“I’m having a meeting.” Sam turns to look at her. Tracy purses her lips at him, clearly not liking what he’s saying.

“No, it’s fine. I really should be going. I’ll miss the bus,” I lie. I always walk home. I grab my purse and coat and don’t even bother to put them on. I just hold them close to my body over my cheap polyester uniform that fits a little too snuggly on me. “Maybe Tracy would like the manager position,” I throw out.

“What!” Tracy half-screams, her face scrunching up. I steal the moment to slip past them both as fast as I can and out the side door of the diner, into the chilled night. The street is empty now that it’s almost midnight on a Tuesday.

I slip my coat on and make the half-mile walk to my apartment, which sits over an old laundromat. Locking the door behind me, I waste no time pulling my uniform from my body and tossing my tips from tonight on the table before jumping into the shower. I have to get the smell of grease off my hair and body. I let the warm water run over me, relaxing my muscles as I wash away the day’s work.

When I’m done I grab a shirt and a pair of panties and pull them on. I sit at the small fold-out table in my half kitchen, if you can call it that. It doesn’t even have a full refrigerator, just one of those tiny ones you find in a hotel, which is probably where it came from. There’s a small sink and microwave, and that’s about it. My exhaustion outweighs my hunger as I count my tips. A hundred dollars on a double shift for a Tuesday isn’t too bad. Every dollar counts at this point. I’m so close to being able to pay for my last semester of college. Twelve more credits and I’m done, I remind myself. I can do this.

I grab the money and place it carefully, along with yesterday’s money, between the pages of a book I keep on the table. I still need to go to the bank and deposit it. After that, I walk the few feet to my bed in the corner of the room and fall face first into the cushioned surface.

“I miss you, Mom,” I whisper into the pillow before sleep takes me.

Header Holding His Forever

The perfect sweet and steamy story!!!
Derek has too be the sweetest Alexa Riley’s H to date (not counting Xavier and Koda, from her Fairytale Shifters series, those will always be the top), without losing not one ounce of his alpha hotness!!! Fia enchanted him from the very first sight, and from that moment on he would give anything for her! He was just dreamy… Sigh…
And Fia was just as incredible, and strong. In Derek, she found the true home she never had before in her life!
