With this intense and angsty looking blurb, and knowing Janie and Rafe’s background from the previous books, even after the author’s assurance of no-cheating, I have to confess I was a still a bit scared to dive into these two’s story. Well, after finishing this, and anticipating a major book hungover, I give all kudos to Lani Lynn Vale! I will not give about any spoilers, because the elements of shock and surprise are the best of it. Like the author says in the notes, TRUST her! In the end it all makes sense, and the plot twist?! Wow, I did no see that coming!

Today, just now, something happened. He became mine, and I became his. And there was nothing either one of us could do about it.

I seriously had to read this in one sitting with how gripping the events and emotional charged the scenes were from the very first paragraph! I’ll not prolong myself too much, because half the emotional impact is going in blind – just know that there is no cheating, don’t forget – and living every single moment of Rafe and Janie’s feelings, emotions and reactions as they surface! I felt my heart being ripped to shreds and sown back together, and it was all worth it! And as all that these two have been through!

I felt like my heart had just been ripped from my chest. As if someone had reached in, gripped it in their large fist, and squeezed as they ripped.

Kinda Don’t Care was beyond everything I imagined and was praying for. Truly an unforgettable, emotional mega rollercoaster ride! Oh boy, I may need a few days to recover from it. My heart is still palpitating! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

For those of you, ARR fans like myself, we got to first meet Leo along on my fav Mayson brother’s story, Until Nico, as Nico’s friend and then partner and recently single dad, given his ex’s betrayal. I’ve been dying for him to have a book of his own, since those revelations at the end of Until Nico, and I couldn’t be any happier that Ms. Paige, one of my fav authors, decide to take Leo in to her hands and make him even more drool worthy than he already appeared to be in Until Nico. Leo was everything! The perfect specimen of hot cop, and a devoted and oh so sweet daddy to the adorable Lynn.

“Dear lord, the man was a force to be reckoned with, and that was without even trying.”

Yep, absolutely irresistible, and Carrie, who was just as amazing as him, was lucky enough to run into him! The fact that her life story and background were so similar to his and his daughter’s life situation, combined with how sweet, beautiful and loving she was, just made it plain evident to Leo his BOOM was right there in from of him, and like the clever man he was, he took what Fate was giving him and held on with both hands from the very first moment! #BOOM <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Second Chance Holiday is one of my fav Aurora Rose Reynolds’ books, and every since Brandon was introduced there as a child/teen, I’ve been hoping we’ll get November’s stepbrother’s story. So, when I say that he was finally getting his own story in this Happily Ever Alpha Kindle World, Until Brandon became one of my most anticipated books of this round!

My heart stops, the feeling of fullness fills me. My stomach clenches just by looking at her. My breathing soft and slow. She walks in smiling at Joe first and then at me when she sees me.

She stands up, holding her hand out to shake mine. When her hand slides into mine, my heart stops. It’s stupid—I know this—but she fits me perfectly.

OMG, I couldn’t have loved Brandon and Aurora’s story more than I did! This was only the second time I’ve had the pleasure of reading Natasha Madison – first was in her collaboration with ARR herself – and she truly knocked it out the park with this novella, and. Brandon was everything I was hoping for an more, and his BOOM… WOW! It was the perfect Mayson style BOOM! How could it not?! He is for all intends and purposes, a ‘honorary’ Mayson, after all. Now he got the BOOM to match! 😉

Then she walked into my office and my world tilted, my heart finally started beating with a purpose, and that purpose was her.

Aurora came into his world, and I adored how he recognized the meeting and her for what she was: his ONE! Of course like the good Alpha he was, – and we could so much see Mike’s integrity and passion in him, and know immediately that he followed his stepdad’s in all the good matters, becoming a good man – he wanted to immediately take Aurora for his own, caveman instinct and all, that comes with the Boom, lol, but he took into consideration her family and life situation and tried to ease her into all they were meant to be. I loved him even more for that!

My hands go to my hips because I want to charge her, grab her, and finally taste her. Consume her, claim her.

Don’t get me wrong, he still got his Alpha way, but with a bit more restrain, and a lot of love and care. I adored seeing not only him taking care of Aurora – she so deserved it after her last couple of years of pain and suffering – but also her little sister Cassie. He was absolutely swoonworthy material, and the way he easily introduced and took over the father figure role, just made me melt! The bit of suspense element just gave us even more dynamic – and a chance to see even more of the rest of Mayson men –
and their sexy times, sure spiced way up, the already ever present insane chemistry Brandon and Aurora had going from the start. Perfect Romance formula! Awww… Until Brandon really was the PERFECT story to fit with the rest of the ARR World, and that Epilogue… The stuff dreams are made of! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

“I was so scared to face the future,” I tell him. “So scared of how tomorrow would be.” I smile at him. “The unknown and facing it alone.” I squeeze my arms tighter around his neck. “Until you, that is. Until Brandon.”

Aurora thinks she was the lucky one, but every single day, I see exactly how I was the lucky one.

OMG… Talk about PERFECT original BOOM!

Seriously, Until Susan completely blew me away! I’m sure there isn’t a Aurora Rose Reynolds’ fan that hasn’t wanted and craved to know more about the original Boom, James and Susan, the parents of the all that Mayson goodness. Well C.P. Smith turned out to be the perfect author to give us these two’s story. Until Susan was #Boom Perfection!

On duty or not, I wanted him to know, in no uncertain terms, that even after all these years together I still wanted him like he wanted me.
Mind.
Body.
And soul.

Ms. Smith was already one of my all time authors and automatic one-click for me, added that she’s from the same generation as James and Susan, ARR couldn’t have chosen a more perfect storyteller to invite into her Until world and give us these two’s romance. Pure insta connection, pure BOOM!

He knew then he wanted her in a way he hadn’t wanted a woman in his life. But Fate had confirmed it for him when she’d placed her hand in his. He knew then it was more than just want, but fucking destiny that had her breaking down in front of his home.

He’d been looking for Susan most of his adult life, and destiny had seen fit to drop her in his lap. He wasn’t about to give fate a chance to change her mind.

James was all about his job as a deputy and as SWAT, living a quiet life in his family’s farm and fully devoted to his county, but when the recently moved Susan Montgomery breaks down next to his place and sparks fly that first sight, James is not a man that needs more than that to know what Fate is trying to tell him. He instantly feels is BOOM and will anything to get Susan on the same page.

The kiss was meant to announce his intent to pursue. To lay claim to her in no uncertain terms.

What started out as a novella, became without a doubt one of my favorite books of the author, and one of my favorite reads of the year. As per CP Smith’s usual, the suspense element took it to another level, and their moments between the sheets – or against the wall, lol – just tied up perfectly to an already emotional and unforgettable romance! Until Susan surpassed all expectations and fit in perfectly in ARR’s HEAlpha world, perfect symbiosis of ARR’s BOOM with CP Smith’s extraordinary voice! One memorable story! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Only Ms. Asher could convey so much emotion, character and storyline development in a novella that makes us feel a full range of feelings as normally only a full length novel allows. So major kudos to her for giving us the full emotion-packed experience in Until Avery!

It would be like winning the lottery for the person who got the chance to gaze into those eyes daily.

What I do know is, the girl settles into my soul just like the music. 

Avery Carpino thought she knew how important that night that she faked her way into that club, she just didn’t know exactly how life altering it would be…
Link, a childhood friend, more like a honorary Mayson and recurring character in ARR’s books, is now back to Tennessee, paving his way as a successful club owner. He never expected Avery to force her way into his club, and simultaneously cause an unparalleled impact into his life.

She must have some witchery, spellbound pull on me because for the second time in a crowd, I see nothing but her.

You were doing everything you could to blend in even though—with all that is you—you couldn’t blend in if you tried.

Avery is such an amazing character and so very realistically written, that I couldn’t help but feel for her, and her personal battle, to do what she most loved in life, song write.
Link, being well familiarized with the Mayson’s BOOM, knew very well that the powerful connection he felt instantly for Avery was a once in a lifetime event, so he needed to captivate her just as much as she had him. Which was no hard task, the double sided chemistry was off the charts and undeniable!

It’s now I realize this man made of muscle, tattoos, and all things rough around the edges, could ruin me in a way I’d beg for more.

“Your SAT scores and GPA don’t take into account lyrics and notes that, when put together, can change lives.”

And so we embark in these two’s romance tale. Link proves to be just as extraordinary character as Avery, and together they couldn’t have been more perfect. I loved seeing them pass from instant attraction to love, all the emotional charged moments, scorching hot built up and insanely steamy scenes, just made us fall in love right along with them and melt us in a puddle with Link’s naughty mouth and loving heart!

Link, just like the rest of the Mayson, was the whole package, and what I loved the most was how he unconditionally supported and cheered for Avery, and all he asked in return was to be loved with the depth he love her. Utterly swoon-worthy!

Never have I begged for anything in my life, but I’m finding when it comes to her, there’s no level in which I won’t stoop. 

Until Avery truly was a brilliant novella, and fit to perfection with not only this Happily Ever Alpha World, but with the original Until series, and the Carpinos’! Perfect Trifecta!
Brynne Asher made us go through ALL the feels in this book, from light-hearted banter to emotional heavy moments, suspense events to full on steamy scenes! UA had EVERYTHING, and was without a doubt one of the richest novellas I had the pleasure of reading! I won’t soon forget all that was Until Avery! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Because from the moment Link held me while my song was being performed for the first time, I felt complete. Whole.

I don’t know how they couldn’t. Link’s love for me is as blinding as the fire that burned his club all those years ago. One would have to be comatose not to see it.
