Synopsis

Finding out my husband, my best friend, only had months to live was devastating.
Sitting out under the star-filled sky, listening to him wish on star after star, night after night, almost killed me.
He never wished to get better.
He wished for me to be happy.
He wished for me to find the strength to move on.
I told him his wishes were pointless, because happiness wouldn’t exist without him.
I found out soon after he passed away that I was pregnant.
But I had no idea his final wish would bring me something I never thought I’d find again.

4.5 ‘ Written In The Stars’ Stars

WOW! THIS BOOK! What an absolutely PERFECT ending ribbon to wrap up this emotional and heart touching series!

Second Chance Romance is a trope that very seldom works for me as a reader, with how demanding I am with my characters, lol, but I can honestly say Ms. Reynolds completely blew me away with Denver and Aubrey’s story!

One kiss would change everything, my whole world.

We begin to get to see Denver and Aubrey as teen, and how much they were already drawn to one another, but something happens, misunderstanding and decisions are  rushedly – and immaturely one could say even – made, which lead to a separation of more than a decade, in which Aubrey led a somewhat happy and loving life with her best friend Gabe, and Denver stayed away for everyone’s best interest. Now, one phone call from Aubrey’s dying husband to Denver, and a promise made and wished upon, everything set on a new course… After some time for healing, that is…

“What are you going to do?”
“I’ll tell you what I’m not going to do. I’m not going to wait around for her to be taken from me again.”

I must confess that at first the four year jump after Gabe’s death kind of threw me of, but after a bit, and specially after witnessing Aubrey’s state of mind, I believe it was a very clever move from Ms. Reynolds, so that we don’t get lost in Aubrey’s mourning and loss of her husband, and focus on Aubrey and Denver’s romance. After that time, Aubrey had time to heal and we see her ready – at least kind, of, lol – to start moving forward.

Meanwhile Denver has been a ever present feature in her and Lyra’s life. He was her rock and basically a dad to Lyra since the day she was born.

“Baby, the moment I held her in my arms, I fell in love with her. I knew then that I’d do everything within my power to protect her. She’s not my blood, but she’s a part of my heart all the same. I love her down to my marrow, like she’s my own.”

I can’t stand out how much I adored Denver, the man was THE man, a serious best book boyfriend material, and how he was so very patient during those four years, and how much he showed them he loved and was there for them… Swoon…

He had been biding his time and just waiting for a signal that Aubrey was ready, and when that came – not in the way he was expecting, lol – he was all hands on deck! Oh boy, did the man show everything he wanted, all his wishes and feelings, in the most ALPHA of ways, lol. He absolutely nothing back, and I ADORED that!

“I’ve always wanted you.” Our eyes stay locked as I wrap my hand around her hip. “You’re the only woman I’ve ever wanted.”

“You don’t want or need me to let go. One of us needs to fight for this, Bre, and until you’re ready to start fighting, that person is me.”

“I fucking know, down to my fucking gut, that this… this is worth fighting for. This is worth everything.”

See what I mean?! He not only waited all this time for her, for them, but still had a tough battle ahead, because Aubrey was scared of the depth of all these feelings between them. The woman had her reason, and past hung ups, but damn, at times I was so aggravated with her, she pushed and pushed, and I have to say, time and time again Den never gave up, and always pushed back, but it reached a point she almost made the mistake of her life, by pushing too much and in a way he felt his unwavering hope shake…

I’m starting to see she’s never going to be mine, that she will always be his, and as much as I love her, I know I can’t live with only having a part of her. I’m selfish. I want it all. I want all her love, all her heart, all her mind, body, and soul.

Fortunately, and FINALLY, she realized her error before it was too late – not that I think Den would really give up – and allowed herself to open to him and truly feel, maybe for the first time in her life, a true and soul deep LOVE!

“Happiness. Being happy. It’s weird. I thought I was happy then.” I shake my head. “No, I know I was happy then. But I’m happy now.” I slide my hands up and wrap them around both sides of his neck. “It’s a different kind of happiness. A happiness I feel all the way down to my soul. These last two days, I realized that with you I feel full. I feel complete. I didn’t know I wasn’t that before but you gave that to me.”

All the cast was splendid, and it was so great to revisit the previous characters of the series, now so many years after. Aurora Rose Reynolds truly gave us all the emotional charge possible in this series, and One Last Wish was without a doubt my favorite of the Shooting Stars and like I said, the PERFECT ending and closure to all this chapter and characters. An emotional journey through Denver, Aubrey and Lyra’s life that pulled on all my heart strings and left me with a warm, fuzzy and happy feeling in my chest. A soul touching, sweet and ultra sexy love story, that will go straight to my all time fav second chance romance, and that I won’t soon forget! Can’t wait to see what new surprises Ms. Reynolds will bring us next!!! <3 <3 <3 <3

“I’d wait forever for you, as long as I knew I’d feel what I’m feeling right now, to know you’re mine in every way there is to be.”

“This is our story. This is the way our story was meant to unfold.”

Ours is the kind of love that has been spoken about and searched for throughout time, a love so sought after that it’s been written into the stars.

4 ‘Completely Romanced’ Stars

What an amazing start for this romantic and über HOT brand new series! Sweet, ultra sexy, and with a hint of suspense, Kristen Proby has me yet again hooked from the start in this series, and already anticipating the next book.

Let’s just say Finn and London first meeting was at one of the worst possible situations. With a probable career ending injury and grieving the loss of her parents, the day of the reading of their will, the timing couldn’t be worse for Finn’s first approach on a possible date. One thing I’ve got to say on this is that I love that he was so completely drawn to her that he lost his normal strict composure and notion of time inappropriateness, lol. Like he says himself, that was totally out of character for him, and I liked that point.

Around two months after they meet again by chance, and now on her way to recovery and healing, London can realize the sizzling chemistry between them and  appreciate the smoking hot specimen that is Finn, as well as allow herself to start moving forward with her life. Finn takes this chance with both hands and it’s full steam ahead in his courtship and seduction…

“Do you make that noise often when you eat?”
“What noise?”
“The moan.” She frowns. “I don’t know, why?”
“Because if you do, I’ll have to make sure I don’t eat with you anymore. It makes me want to fuck you, London.”

London is such an intricate character, specially with her background as musical’s headliner, and recent pain from the horrible incident that caused her to not only almost losing her life, but having her parents ripped from her, she reveals such a strong, sassy,  independent – even too stubborn at times, lol – persona, that never gives in easily to Finn’s ‘control freak’ nature, and it’s fantastic to see the organic way in which they adapt – or argue – to being a couple.

“To be understood is profound. You understand me. It’s a big deal.”

The natural feeling but speedy relationship development, coupled with those smoking HOT sexy times – that made me believe this is, not counting that scorching hot menage, lol, KP’s steamiest book to date. Sure they have some bumps in the road, but I adored how he never gave up on her, and ALWAYS went to her, even if she didn’t initially felt it  exactly what she needed. And Oh boy, did this man pack a punch, his dominating personality was raised to some serious epic sexy moments. Yep, not only did the man rock in the romantic department, he was unforgettable between the sheets – or in the town car, lol.

If I’m not mistaken, Finn Cavanaugh just claimed me. And it was the hottest moment of my life.

Finn and London’s story was the perfect appetizer for this new series that I have no doubt will leave us just as captivated as all the other fantastic ones that Ms. Proby has given us. That ending though, even though I know we will have a follow up on the couple in the next book, for an Epilogue lover like myself, the short time lapse ones always leave feeling somewhat not fully satisfied, and wanting to see what I have  no doubt their HEA, but in their own book. So yes, now, like the KP addict that I am, I’m seriously counting down the day for the next book, not only to fall for the next brother, but also to see more Finn and London! All ready for more Romancing Manhattan! <3 <3 <3 <3

I’ve never believed in love at first sight, but since I met Finn, I’ve hardly been able to see much of anything else.

“I love you, more than I ever thought it was possible to love another person. It seems that you came crashing into my life in one big, magical storm, and I can’t remember what it was like before you.”

RELEASE BLITZ + REVIEW: HUSBAND MATERIAL (Left at the Altar series) by Raine Miller

HUSBAND MATERIAL

Series: Left at The Altar series (collaboration of six bestselling authors)

Author: Raine Miller

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Release Date: August 19th, 2018

Synopsis

She left me the week before our wedding.

Said I wasn’t “husband material.”

Actually, I’d have to agree with my ex on that matter…because I’m just better off alone.

But everything changed for me the day I met a mysterious beauty sketching on the beach.

Giselle…

We had one magical night together…and then she was gone—a free-spirited angel who flitted away with the dawn.

I searched until I found her again.

And now I can’t let her go…because I might just be husband material after all.

*Husband Material is the third book in the LEFT AT THE ALTAR series in a collaboration of six New York Times Bestselling Authors:  J. S. Scott, Ruth Cardello, Raine Miller, Sawyer Bennett, M. Malone, and Melody Anne.

4.5 ‘French Beach Fairy’ Stars

Oh là là!!! What a perfect little summer read! Sweet, super sexy, fun but a whole lot of emotion, Husband Material packs quite a punch for a novella and holds a grip on us from start to finish.

Gage has just been left on the altar with a very ‘explicit’ letter by his ex bride, that has he completely losing hope of ever finding someone to share his future with…

“She’s definitely right about one thing,” I said suddenly. “I’m not husband material, and I think I’m meant to be single. For good.”

And like the best things in life, a beautiful French girl, Giselle pops up in his beach and in his life, unexpectedly and makes him, after the initial shock at each others chemistry, change his mind little by little.

She’d given me so many. Smiles. In a short time, I’d become rather addicted to Giselle’s smiles.

Her palms pressed along the contours of my chest as if she were a sculptor hand-fashioning her creation—molding the clay to her will—and I was her clay. Willingly.

There were so incredible and amazing things that made me fall in love with Gage and Giselle, first of all how could is see someone who is your namesake – very rare for this girl and always gets me giddy when I do – and that you share so many both similarities and dreams. I adored this woman, she was so very sweet and passionate, but also so mature, strong and in touch with her feelings, she was the perfect female character!

There was something about Giselle that was so diverse and so physical. Like a wild creature in its natural habitat. Except her natural habitat was everywhere. She knew where she wanted to be and she just…went there.

And Gage, oh my… He was such a deliciously sexy, tough guy, but with such a secret tender heart that simultaneously craved and feared to find his soulmate, and his own HEA.

Uneasiness that I was heading into some dangerous uncharted territory…for my heart.

Giselle was the one who’d given me far more than I could ever give to her.

Giselle was all about expression…in everything she did in her life.

How could I not fall for him when he was so completely and utterly smitten by his ‘French Beach Fairy?! From that very first look we could see and feel his enchantment. And how he did everything in his power to find her, more than once, yep, totally swoon worthiness right there. That, the love and care, the steaming HOT- or should I say scorching – sexy times and that last EPIC love gesture made him go straight to my best book boyfriend list!

Giselle was one lucky, but just as wonderful, woman, and just as deeply in love and devoted to him as he was to her.

My beautiful surfing man just does not yet know the depths of what he could give if only he would allow the love to break through the hurt that lived in his heart.

Raine Miller surprised me with Husband Material, considering I never expected that she could still pack all the emotional depth and range that she got us used to in her brilliant storytelling talent, but boy was I wrong! It was everything I was hoping for and more, and one of the best novellas I have ever read! And those little Easter eggs were awesome! A bit more of epilogue – we all know how much of an epilogue wh@re I am, lol – and it would have been the full five stars. I need even more Gage and Giselle, and their future HEA, which I’m hoping we’ll get considering the author’s note that Gage’s friends are getting their own books. Let the stalking begin! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Giselle was it for me. My girl.

The point is, my gorgeous Gi, you are my home. Wherever you want to be is where I will live.”

That’s what I believed, so it became my truth. She had been sent from heaven or somewhere to find me…and save me. To be mine. Forever.

Synopsis

Tyler Cree has never been good at the whole look and don’t touch thing.
From the moment he was old enough to walk on his own two feet, he’s been looking for trouble.
Trouble comes in many forms…quite a few of those forms being the female persuasion.
Tyler knows what girls want—a bad boy. And he has the bad boy image down pat.
Ex-military—check.
Hot cop—double check.
A bike between his legs and a devil may care attitude—oh, yeah.
All the girls want him, yet none of them will have him—at least not all of him, anyway. A certain appendage they can have all they want. His heart, however, is not up for grabs. The useless organ inside his chest was broken and battered, mutilated by the one woman he thought would keep it safe.
Spoiler alert: she ripped it to shreds and set fire to the pieces.
To protect himself, Tyler keeps everyone at arm’s length, and never lets anyone get too close.
Then Reagan Rose Alvarez barrels into his life, and trespasses on not only his property, but straight into his abused heart. One glance is all it takes, and he’s suddenly thinking about things he hasn’t thought for quite some time—thoughts that a man like him should never have about a woman like her.
One moment of weakness is all it takes, and suddenly he has no other choice but to go on the offensive.
Keeping her is the only other option now.
Turns out, his heart isn’t as broken as he thought it was.
The only problem is, now the little she-devil holds it in the palm of her hands, and she has no clue just how much power she holds.

4.5 ‘Sexiest Banter’ Stars

O…M..G… Lani Lynn Vale sure turned up the heat to a WHOLE new level in the perfect ‘enemies to lovers’ that is this Too Bad So Sad!

Tyler Cree – again I say, isn’t this name just the best?! How badass is it on its own?! – and Reagan Alvarez, Bennet’s not-so-little-girl-anymore daughter, had an sparkling, to say the least, first meeting. Both ‘complicated’ people, they couldn’t be more different from one another, but one thing it can never be denied, their attraction!

I studied the woman that was still standing there, looking at me like she was trying to figure me out.

Good luck.

Even I couldn’t figure me out.

I wanted him so bad I could practically taste it.
It was a bittersweet feeling this way because I wasn’t sure if I wanted to yell at him or fuck him.

Ladies and gentlemen, it was SCORCHING!!! Their non stop and deliciously enticing banter was a thing of beauty, and just made for a more slow paced and perfectly realistic relationship development. I fell hard for these two, I love a good enemies to lovers romance, when executed well it’s my catnip, and Tyler and Reagan with their anti-sociality, sarcasm and innuendos seemed tailor made for yours truly! It was TOP!

“Is there any part of you that is normal-sized?” I hissed, making sure to angle my face up over my shoulder so that he would hear everything that I had to say.
He laughed. “No, honey. Sorry. I’m from Texas where they make everything supersized.”

We have in Too Bad So Sad every single and diverse moment of the spectrum that makes Ms. Vale’s writing – along with a witty and fast paced plot – so addicting. Tyler and Reagan are the epitome of ‘enemies to lovers’, and as such the beautifully portrayed anger and frustration with each other and their own bodies betrayal in craving the other, lead to some of the most insane HOT angry sexy times LLV has given us. Consider yourselves warned! 😉

Once the initial antagonism – ok, who am I kidding, lol? The banter is constant feature even after together, and I loved that even more! – develops into a somewhat friendship with benefits, the more Tyler and Reagan get close the more their true feelings come forth, and become undeniable. Even to the most stubborn of people, lol.

I wanted her to feel safe with me.
I wanted her to love me.
I wanted her to…be mine. I was so going to hell.
My feelings had changed in what felt like a heartbeat.

Hell no, I’d never be able to let her go.
Nothing but everything with her would do.

And I swooned! Hard! Yep, I never expected the rough, broody and prickly Tyler had such a sweet and tender side. True that neither of them guessed they would have this love right on their doorstep, and that it would blossom the way it did, but don’t they say the most beautiful things are the unexpected. I know their love story was!

Don’t know if Too Bad So Sad will be the last book of this amazing and impactful Simple Man series, but if it is, it sure was a beautifully crafted wrap up, with how we got to see the rest of the gang, all the previous couples, and how well they were integrated in this story that was no doubt all about the awesomeness that is Tyler and Reagan and their outstanding HEA, but also gave us – BIG – hint on Rome and Ms. Vale’s upcoming The Bear Bottom MC. I am seriously salivating, and anxiously awaiting to get my hands on this tortured Hero, ex football player! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

“You did something to my heart,” he said. “I can’t fuckin’ think because you’re all in my head, making me do and say things that I never would’ve done before you.”

Synopsis

What’s wrong with my butt?
She means those words to be directed toward the woman beside her, not him. But he can’t stop himself from answering. Not when her ass is the most magnificent thing he’s seen in his life.
Apparently, answering her with ‘not a damn thing’ wasn’t what she was expecting.
She likely wasn’t expecting the baseball she took to the face at his next at bat, either.
All it takes is one ill-fated foul ball, and George Hoffman, Lumberjacks center fielder, falls head over heels in love with Wrigley Field—and yes, that is her real name.
From that point forward, George and Wrigley fall into a fast whirlwind love that ends with them eloping to Vegas. And he has his potty mouth, titty bar owning, pain in the ass grandmother to thank for it.
Not that he’s complaining or anything.
Who wouldn’t want to be married to a woman that made his heart race like he was in the final game of the World Series?
The only problem is trying to convince her of that.

3.75 ‘Second Round’ Stars

Oh my Lord, the ANGST!!! Lani Lynn Vale put my heart through the wringer with this one!

Everyone that knows and follows me, also knows of my addiction to all things LLV, and I have to say that after the perfection of that first book in this series, Pitch Please – if you haven’t read that you need to, STAT – I’ve been anxiously and impatiently waiting for this book. Well, I can say that George and  Wrigley sure surprised each and myself right along with them!

“Hello,” I smiled. “I’m sorry.”
She smiled back. “Sorry for what?”
I pressed lightly on her forehead, right above where the swelling was starting, and said, “For hitting you in the face with a ball.”
She moaned. “That’s gonna suck the next few weeks.” she frowned. “I’d say I’d take your balls to my face any time you want but…I have a class for battered women tomorrow. This is going to be hard for them to look at.”

With the most unconventional – but surely impactful – first meeting, these two’s love story was a whirlwind of emotion and angst filled events. Wrigley Fields – yes, that’s her name, and wait until you read her siblings’, lol – ,not a fan of baseball, is dragged by her younger sister to watch the Lumberjacks game, where Furious George is playing. From the moment they locked eyes they were attracted, what they didn’t expect was the George’s odd ball would be the first thing to make contact with her.

He was beautiful, kind, thoughtful, and overall a really great guy. Plus, he had a beard.

I’d witnessed my first home run ever, and I was officially addicted to baseball.
Or maybe it was the man.
I didn’t know.
But addiction was in there somewhere.

With a smoking hot bearded ginger giant I’d be hooked for life too. Specially with those tight baseball pants! Who can resist a handsome man in those?!

I loved how George was so open about wanting her and wooing Wrigley from the get go, and from that moment it was full speed ahead, marriage and baby, and what it seemed to be an HEA.

 He was my hero.
Seriously, all I did was worry, and all he did was reassure me.
We were a match made in heaven.

But no, something happens and we find these two divorced for eight months, but still very much in love. So we have a time jump, and normally I don’t mind them, but here it should make the story Arc a bit strange – specially given we jump the separation and are just told what happened – and it seemed very un-LLV. George is alone, away from his love and his baby boy, and I hurt for him SO bad. I could feel his pain, his frustration, his helplessness, and was seriously mad at Wrigley for allowing the past event and her stubbornness and pride, to keep them apart.

I used to be tame. I used to be able to control my temper…I used to be happy.
Now, I wasn’t.
Now, I was worse than before I’d met her.
I was lost.
I was broken.
I was alone.
And worst of all, I didn’t want to be found.
Not by anyone but her.
I was simply existing.

I was going to have her back.
In my home. In my bed. In my life. And I was going to get back into her heart.

George was absolutely perfect in this first half of the book, he had the patience of a saint during those eight months but then all of the sudden BAM, he had the most idiotic, and one of my personal peeves regarding separated couples that it’s clear that still very much in love – I couldn’t believe not only his approach and how he dealt with it and the series of events and media repercussion – but also his carelessness of how much it would her Wrigley. True, the separation and divorce was her fault, but with the way he went that it completely made me forget her blame and become seriously raging mad at him, and it’s a shame because I had such high hopes for him (with the perfection that was Hancock and how spectacular George was on the first half).

“You’re beautiful, and not a day will go by that I don’t find every single inch of you captivating.”

“I’ve regretted my decisions for a really long time now. It would make me the happiest woman alive if you allowed me the chance to rectify my poor choices.”

In between that initial media and OW drama, and horrifying disaster that had me crying , they ended up supporting each other, and finding his way back together, but the media, and George mistake snowballed in a way, that had me fuming at him! Wrigley had all the right to be beyond mad, and that last OW drama scene – that seemed out of the blue, and made no sense, and contradicted the whole background of both characters, more like a plot inconsistency/error, that I hoped it was fixed – , as well as his explanation, sadly tainted the whole story for me. Even more so because his senseless explanation and its close proximity to their ending, I felt a bit disheartened, because I truly adored the first half and their story had such great potential, with all their background and the motive for their separation, as well as their families, they had a LOT going on, so the unnecessary OW drama just  a step too much. Fortunately, after all this rollercoaster we got to see their beautiful and much anticipated HEA.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Lani Lynn Vale truly pulls to all my emotions, that is for sure. I laughed, I cried (yes, I was literally gripping my seat when the disaster happened and I was transported to Shock Advise’s heartbreak), I swooned, I raged, and I just soaked in all the words from start to finish. Ms. Vale has the gift of gripping us in from the get go, and making us live through all the feelings the main characters are going through. And with the amazing cast that we have in these Lumberjack’s team – btw, I ADORED the tiny bits we got of Hancock and Sway! – and  I wonder who she will gift us with next. Maybe Gentry?! Manny?! Gunner?! I don’t know, I just know I need it NOW!!! <3 <3 <3 <3

Alexandra is nothing like Colton Booth expected when he hired her. If he’d realized “Alex” was a gorgeous eighteen-year-old girl, he never would have given her the job in the first place. But now that he has her on his ranch, he doesn’t plan to ever let Alexandra go.

Wrangle Me is a steamy novella with a sexy cowboy who has a wicked sweet tooth and an innocent virgin who knows how to satisfy it. Written by bestselling author Rochelle Paige.

4.25 ‘ Wrangled Up’ Stars

What a deliciously sweet and HOT cowboy Romance!

Rochelle Paige, writing as Gigi Thorne really gave us the insta cowboy smuttiness perfect for a quick ‘before bedtime’ read.

Alexandra landed in Colton’s doorstep, after running from her oppressive household, and Colton Booth – smoking hot cowboy, through and through, was shocked beyond words when the young cook he hired turned out to be the gorgeous, sweet and innocent little woman in front of him. Clever man that he was, and knowing Fate when it landed in his lap, lol, Colton just needed to slowly and surely – he’s an Alpha after all – wrangle Alex in. 😉

I’d had my fair share of good luck over the years, but none of it compared to how fortunate I was to have had Alexandra land on my doorstep the way she had.

Wrangle Me was such an incredibly sweet, insta-love – though Colton conquers her slowly and patiently – little read. No angst, scorching HOT, and endearingly sweet love story that will leave you all warm – for more reasons than one, lol –  and fuzzy, and craving even more Cowboy romance, that Gigi Thorne’s next author will surely deliver with this month’s theme.  <3 <3 <3 <3

I knew deep down in my bones that I wasn’t just going to be her first and only, she was going to be my last.

Synopsis

Donovan Beckett is a recluse who wants no commitments or entanglements of any kind. He works hard to ensure no one can penetrate the wall he’s carefully constructed around himself—until the day his new neighbor stumbles into him.

It isn’t anything like instant love. Far from it.

Eden Avery doesn’t want to be curious about her neighbor. He’s the most infuriating and closed-off person she’s ever met—not to mention the rudest. She doesn’t want to find the uptight bastard irresistible and she shouldn’t be able to sense the minute he’s within spitting distance, but does. She really shouldn’t fantasize about his hands on her body, but that’s happening too.

They can fight it all they want, but nothing can stop the mutual attraction that’s about to disrupt both of their lives.

Excerpt

I collide with and immediately bounce off something huge and hard. My arms flail as I start to topple backward. I’m saved by a pair of strong hands that halt me before I land on my butt. I’m barely able to process that I’m upright before the hands are gone.

Blinking in confusion, I slowly look up and take in a man who is easily a foot taller than my five foot one frame. He’s like an angel in black—tall and broad shouldered with large hands and rugged arms. His black t-shirt does nothing to hide his six-pack abs, and the black jeans and black work boots he’s got on only make him more roguishly appealing. Everything about him is sexy including his sporty, masculine scent. I’ve never come across someone so mesmerizing in all of my life. His longish dark hair, closely trimmed beard and sensual lips are straight up panty-melters, so I bet women throw themselves at him on the regular. The very thought of this bothers me far more than is reasonable or appropriate.

My heart slams against my chest as my eyes meet his. Something strange passes between us, something I can’t put name to. I’m at a loss because I haven’t experienced anything remotely similar before. I feel my cheeks flush with color as I stare up at him. Biting my lip nervously, I blink up at him like an idiot as I try to force words out of my mouth. Questions are zinging through my head at high speed—things like who are youor where did you come from and finally, holy shit, has this kind of thing ever happened to you before?

Before I can articulate even one of those things he blinks and the moment is over. I cringe when I realize whatever was in his eyes is gone, almost as if it never happened at all. Now, he’s pinning me with a look that could permanently freeze the tropics. Even still, his eyes make me weak in the knees, regardless of the fact that they’re now subarctic. Jet black lashes frame the most beautiful deep blue eyes I’ve ever seen, and right now they’re transmitting one message loud and clear—stay the hell back. I’ve never come across anyone less inviting in all my life.

“I—I’m sorry,” I sputter. “I didn’t mean—”

His sensual lips form a flat line as he sidesteps me. “Pay attention to where you’re going,” he snaps.

5 ‘Sunshine To his Dark’ Stars

OH…WOW… What an emotional, heart breaking and hopeful healing story! One of my most anticipated and ended up being one of my fav reads this year!

Eden Avery’s life has dealt her blow after blow in the last few months of her life – actually it has never been the same since her mother and grandmother deaths – so when an amazing opportunity shows up in her desperate situation, so holds on to it like a lifeline.

What she could never imagine is that in this new adventure in a charming Inn in the most adorable small town would bring her face to face with a man like she never met before.

Jet black lashes frame the most beautiful deep blue eyes I’ve ever seen, and right now they’re transmitting one message loud and clear—stay the hell back. I’ve never come across anyone less inviting in all my life.

It’s official. In addition to being crazy gorgeous, Donovan Beckett is the most infuriating man alive.

And what a first meeting it was! Donovan Beckett really left an impression!

Donovan showed all his growly and ‘keep away’ self. But there was something deep down that made Eden – and ourselves – look closer. She felt something in him calling to her, and she could she clear as day he was a broken man. A man that pushed everyone away so that they couldn’t look deeper and see his pain.

Donovan Beckett is a tidal force and for a second there he let me ride the wave. For reasons I can’t readily identify, that feels like a victory.

Eden, though, could see right trough him, and that is what scared him the most. This tiny beautiful woman, with one look, shook his world to the core, and he just didn’t know how to react to all she made him feel. It was not only the pull they instantly felt towards one another, he just knew she had the potential to change his all life. One that until now he wasn’t living, but barely surviving…

Keeping other people at arm’s length—fuck, well past that—is easy for me. So easy that it’s more than just my default—it’s become second nature. Except when it comes to Eden Avery.
She’s single-handedly putting cracks in walls I need in place in order to survive.

I’m celibate and damn good at it because the idea of being touched makes me ill. Until now. Until her. I want to fuck, mark, protect, and claim her as mine.

Ever since then I’ve been far, far nicer to her than I should be because it feels like being an asshole to her is equivalent to kicking an angel.

I will not reveal his background, because that would be spoiling this extremely emotional journey for you, but from the start you – along Eden – can imagine he’s hiding something monumentally painful that shattered him to the reclusive and shadow living.

Ella Fox truly outdid herself with this story, the emotional charge, and all the raw feelings we could feel in these two, cemented from the start that this two broken souls needed each other to heal. Two halves fated to become one.

Never in my life have I felt anything like the carnality and emotion of this, the sensation of being untethered to anything but him so extreme I briefly wonder if there’s an earthquake, then realize it’s not the earth shifting beneath me. It’s just Donovan.

All this emotions they brought up on one another, and the intensity of their attraction, and though that intrigued Eden, and like the bright sunshine that she was, she was compelled to get close to Donovan, and help his heal in some way, even if only in a friendly way, Donovan, the prickly man himself, tried his best to keep her away. He thought himself to broken beyond hope, and Eden too good and too pure to be tainted by the shadow of a man he was.

This tiny beautiful woman practically has a goddamn halo and I’m nothing but a broken-down husk of a man who shouldn’t be anywhere near her.

I never forget what I’ve lost—ever—but when my focus is on her, a big part of me wants to be better—to actually try living instead of just pretending to.

Not only is their love story, the stuff epic ROMANCES are made of, but I have to stand out the incredible secondary characters that I hoping – and begging – Ms. Fox will give us more inkling into, and maybe a book of their own for all that younger crew (specially Julie and Morrow) that like Maggie and Ron,  welcomed Eden into their fold, and became her family in every way. They gave the story the perfect lightness and fun to go along with the heavy emotional moments and made the book a journey through out the ALL the possible emotions, and something that I devoured from start to finish.

Once all was unveiled and Donovan allowed himself to feel, and heal his heart, with Eden’s help, I have to say, OH BOY… Was he the PERFECT ALPHA! His love and devotion to Eden was everything a girl dreams of, and a true confirmation of what we saw from the start. They were the definition of soulmate!

Deep, deep down in the depths of my soul, the very thing that makes me who and what I am, I feel him.

“What’s happening right now?” I ask softly.
“What’s happening is I can’t fight it anymore. You’re fucking mine,” he answers, his voice deadly serious. “No more resistance, no more bullshit. We’re happening.”

I have no words to describe how much I ADORE this emotional and unforgettable journey Ms. Fox took us on, in Disrupt. Eden and Donovan, along with their amazing story are now on my top of favorite reads of this year. Their über emotional, sweet, complex, sexy and extraordinary tale is just as EPIC as her love, and will be forever branded in my heart. I can’t wait to see what Ella Fox will give us next! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

The man who spent so much time trying to get away from me somehow became my whole world.

As long as there is life, there’s a chance to make it right. I won’t ever lose sight of that.

Jenna Hull owns and manages vacation rentals in her hometown of Cunningham Falls, Montana. She’s just completed the construction of her most exhausting project, the one she’s put her heart and soul into. The inviting, opulent Snow Wolf Cottages are the first ski in/ski out tree houses in the world.

Her biggest dream is about to come true, and she can’t let anything distract her.

But what Christian isn’t prepared for is Jenna. With a face that could easily co-star with him in a movie and her ambition to put her stamp on Cunningham Falls, he can’t stay away. Excerpt

“Come on in. This is your home away from home for the next four weeks.” I pause in the kitchen while he wanders through the space, looking outside, then taking in the blue kitchen cabinets, the large gas fireplace, and the comfortable furniture. “In the email correspondence, you asked for extra groceries to be stocked in the kitchen, and I’ve done that for you.”

“Thanks,” he says. “Where’s the closest Starbucks?”

I lean my hip on the counter and take a sip of my now lukewarm coffee. “In town.”

“Not on the mountain?”

“There’s a coffee shop up here, yes, but it doesn’t open until tomorrow when the season officially starts. I believe that’s the case for the restaurants up here, too.”

“So, no food up here?”

I shake my head. “No, but I’ll take pity on you and make you dinner tonight, if you like.”

His eyes narrow, suspicion written all over his face. “Why would you do that?”

I lean in as if I’m about to tell him a secret and whisper loudly, “Because I’m a nice person.”

He doesn’t smile.

“You can figure it out for yourself if you want to.” I shrug and lead him to the barn door that closes the small bedroom off the living space. “This is the bedroom on this level. There’s a bathroom here, too. I’ll show you the upstairs.”

I climb the stairs, certain that his eyes are on my ass, and hear him gasp when we reach the top.

“Cool, huh?”

“Beautiful,” he murmurs again, looking up.

4.25 ‘Finally found Home’ Stars

Awww, how sweet, sexy and ROMANTIC is this story!!! Impossible not to love it when for the Hollywood heartthrob falls as hard as Christian did for this small town girl, Jenna. What small town romance is all about! Swoon…

For those of you, KP fans like myself, we meet Jenna in the previous and first book os this spin off, Big Sky series, Charming Hannah, and the sassy, smart and beautiful, younger and only sister to the Hull brothers, Brad and Max.

A small town girl, that though enjoys traveling, loved her little little slice of peaceful heaven in the Montana mountains, and wants to share that beauty with the world in the best way she can, through the hospitality industry, and her luxury tree houses, her niche, just as one of a kind as herself.

Yes, this is where my heart is. This mountain. This town. These people.

And that is exactly what brings them together, when Christian Wolfe, the Hollywood heartthrob, shows up at her doorstep as one of her guests. Christian, with a lifetime on spotlight, as he was a child actor, is getting worn out with all that comes and is expected that comes along with the fame, so when Luke – yes, our LUKE, from the very first KP book and series, With Me in Seattle! – gives him a chance of new role, for which he goes to stay in the snowy Montana mountains, he never expected to find all his life was missing, love.

Staying in one place too long invites people into your bubble.
Always stay on the move.

I’m not starved for attention. I’m starved for connection.

OMG, the instant chemistry and attraction is undeniable, so much so that when Jenna starts tearing his well constructed walls, and all the wariness that comes along with his profession, with her genuine and sassy personality, Christian can’t hold on to those feeling and uncovers all the passion she awakes in him. And in turn does the same to her.

Jesus, I feel the intensity of his touch down to the pit of my stomach. How can a simple touch ignite every nerve ending in my body?

The secondary characters are so damn wonderful it’s no wonder that Kristen Proby transports us so completely to this small community that we fall in love with them just as much as with Christian and Jenna. Yes, with all that Christian’s sister did and said, I couldn’t manage to forgive her, because even though she tried to make emends by the end, it was not enough to make me forget the grade A B!tch she was before, but I hope with the coming books I’ll warm up to her a bit, lol. The girl posse was as kick @ss and fantastic as ever, and I just wanted to be right along with them for the girls night! And  Jenna’s brothers were absolutely amazing, and even when they weren’t,  Jenna made sure to stay strong and tell them how it was. She was fab! KNew just exactly how to deal with all this Alphas! 😉

“Oh, Lord.” I hang my head and scratch my cheek. “I’m surrounded by alpha men.”

And of course, I have to mention again the cameo and big importance of Luke and Natalie, from Come Away With Me, to this story. With so many similarities between their story – though I still prefer Luke’s choices on the fame matter, in regards to Christian’s here – these two were fundamental to Christian and Jenna’s love story. Luke gave some sound advice, and Natalie’s words of wisdom to Jenna were just what she needed to help her move forward in regards to this very public new world, and specially falling in love with a famous People ‘World’s Sexiest Man’. Who better to tell her about it?!

“I knew I loved Luke after the first week,” she says with a wink. “Time doesn’t matter, Jenna. Sometimes, you meet someone, and you just know. It’s like an instant recognition. Like your heart is saying, oh, there you are.”

I just adored Jenna so much! Her easy going, quick witted personality, coupled with with stunningly beautiful image that she always made sure to make focus point. Her effortlessly realistic and natural way she treated Christian as any other guest without any kind of fan girling was just as refreshing and charming to me as well as to Christian. The way she opened herself up and gave her heart away, made me love her even more.

My God, I’ve fallen in love with Christian Wolfe. Irrevocably, unequivocally in love with him.

Christian truly didn’t know what to expect from Jenna. From the no fuss, even dismissive approach on their first meeting, or the friendly should to lean on, Jenna is everything he never expected to find, and so desperately needed in his life. A breath of fresh air in every way.

I feel at home here, and I don’t know if I’ve ever truly felt that way anywhere before, aside from on a stage or a movie set.
It seems that Jenna is what I’ve been searching for my whole life, and now that I’ve found her, how do I keep her?

“You were such a plot twist,” he murmurs against my lips before kissing me silly. I don’t even care that I’m partially out of the water, all I can feel is Christian. Under me and inside me, he’s all I can focus on. “You make me lose my mind.”

And that, along with that insane chemistry is what makes him fall in love with her as hard as did. Not only falls for her, and wants her as constant in his life, but also her small town, her Home. And that is something he needed as much as Jenna, some solid and stable ground to let himself be. Jenna indeed became that, his home.

She’s everything fresh and wonderful in my life.

If not for his job, that like I’ve mentioned, or hinted at in regards to his options and Luke’s choices, is one of my least fav to read about in romance, because I’m too possessive of my Hs in the hs behalf. I could never stand to endure what the actors/actress’ better half endure, lol. In this case, the only issues I had with the story were events and actions interconnected with his fame and public life. If he had taken a different approach, he would have been the perfect book boyfriend. Nonetheless, Christian was an absolutely swoon worthy, romantic, and oh so HOT hero! He was so smitten and in love with Jenna, that it was impossible not to fall along with her, specially with his thoughts, actions and words!

“It is my job,” he says softly as his eyes travel over my face. “And I love my job. But I don’t love it more than you.”
“Christian—”

This series truly is building up to be just as fantastic as the series from which the spin off originated, Under the Big Sky, one of my all time KP fav. With this small town and intimate ‘little bubble’ romance feel, Kristen Proby has a winning formula I believe. The simple setting, but complex characters is the perfect dichotomy to get us wrapped up in the story, and loose in the romance and sexiness of the book. Kissing Jenna was all I was hoping for for Jenna’s story, and I am now anxiously awaiting for the novella about Brooke – that we got to meet in here – and specially with Max, and I’m hoping Willa’s story! Counting down the days! <3 <3 <3 <3

“Jenna, I can’t do this life without you. I don’t think I started to breathe until the moment I first touched you.”

She continues to self publish, best known for her With Me In Seattle and Boudreaux series, and is also proud to work with William Morrow, a division of HarperCollins, with the Fusion Series.

Synopsis

Coke Solomon has lived a full life.

He’s a retired army drill sergeant, so he is more than used to getting his way.

And if he can’t have his way?
Well, let’s just say that’s never happened before…

At least not until Cora Maldonado walks into his life, demanding he fall in line, or she’ll find a way to make his life hell.

He finds out fast that Cora marches to the beat of her own drum, and a lot of times that drum takes her farther away rather than closer to where he feels she needs to be.

He can’t stand it.

He wants her, and he has to have her.

It doesn’t matter what she’s twenty years younger than him, and has a father that would rather see him dead than have his baby girl anywhere near him. Nor does it matter that his ex-wife is highly offended that she’s been replaced with a much younger woman.

Despite the odds stacking against them, he’ll fight for what he wants.
His ex-wife, her father, and their age difference be damned.

4.25 ‘ His Voice made me DO IT’ Stars

Oh LA LA… Talk about a orgasmic voice! And the whole package – even some excess one, lol – that went along with it! Cora had ZERO chance to resist her new and silver fox neighbor!

Cora has recently moved to Hostel, and barely settled in, she has to deal with a apparent noisy neighbor. After gearing up for a confrontation, she was shell shocked, and speechless when faced with the handsome and raspy voiced that was Coke Solomon.

“Cora?”
I’d know that raspy, deep voice anywhere.
Whether I was fully conscious or deeply asleep, awake or in my dreams, that voice was like a homing beacon…for my vagina.

Yep, the voice really was the deal breaker. After that initial meeting and the instant sizzling chemistry and bilateral attraction, they develop a easy – and special – somewhat of a friendship.

After the nightmare that was Coke’s more than seventeen year old marriage, and even after two years divorced the constant presence of his ex, and his new found solitude with his seventeen old daughter away at college, let’s just say that Cora is exactly the breath of fresh air he needed to uplift his life in more ways than one. He more than deserves his HEA!

Beatrice said, popping up at my side like a STD that just kept coming back regardless of what I did to get rid of it.

Unfortunately, a nagging ex-wife that you hated wasn’t one of the things that would warrant a restraining order.
Bummer.

That’s right, he describes the level of insanity and clinginess of his ex wife, to the perfection. I have to say that if not for the EVER presence – even if not exactly physical – of this OTT insane woman all throughout the book, always causing problems and drama of some kind, I would have enjoyed the book even more and would definitely rate it higher. She just took too much of their love story, stealing too much of my attention, and distracting me from their connection. I just wished her presence and relevance had been toned down a bit. If you are a follower of my reviews, you know how I always prefer my OW drama in small doses, and that the angst comes from outside forces, but nonetheless, I think Coke really was worth all this baggage, the man was such a GOOD GUY!!!

Cora was just as brilliant! As an introvert at core like myself, I so deeply sympathize with her, and though – much like Coke – that she was incredible! Their instant attraction and their ever growing friendship, and blossoming feelings, truly sold me out! Not to talk about all the sexiness going on!

“Fuck, baby.”
I couldn’t agree more.
Fuck was right.
The man had rocked my world. If there was a way that everyone wanted losing their virginity to go, that was it.

Oh boy, with how much they craved each other, you can imagine the level of explosion that went on when they finally decided to give in to their desires. The sexy times were OFF THE CHARTS hot! One would never guess that we were talking about a virgin, and a not overly experienced man – I absolutely loved that he had been with only five women in his thirty five years old! – that’s right, they were THAT hot for one another!

Of course at some point events (and extremely awkward situations) happen that bring Cora’s insecurities and deep seated issues to light, and once again, I loved how real Ms. Vale portrayed Cora and the complexity of her character. Her doubts were palpable, and I was right there with her in her internal battle and rooting for her to pull trough and take a chance. To choose a chance of a HEA!

I also felt somewhat bad that I couldn’t hang with the big dogs in the crazy department—but I had enough crazy of my own. I didn’t need anybody else’s crazy to deal with, too…right?

Coke was bad for me. Coke was bad for me.
Maybe if I kept repeating those words, one day I’d believe them.

Indeed she had valid points, but the man that was Coke Solomon, fought for her, but at the same time respected her issues, and supported her all the way throughout their love story.

Another relationship that I adored in this book was the ‘sisterly’ behavior of Janie (specially this one), Kayla and Cora. Like true sisters, the two former, really pushed Cora’s buttons, and got on her last introvert nerve, but you could see and feel that in the end, it all came from a place of love. They were ALWAYS there for her, even if it was the last thing Cora wanted. Very sisterly like indeed! LOL

Coke showed what fantastic person he was, even in the previous book, Get You Some, with how he dealt and helped June. I loved him then – even already knowing of the crazy ex, lol – but  added to that, being an amazing father, a spectacular alpha, he was without a doubt the very perfect match for Cora, (even if I wished that he had realized a bit sooner 😉 )so no wonder she feel for the man! Just check out come of the things he said and thought, totally swoon worthy material hero!

I wanted…no, I needed her.

She was wrong about that.
I didn’t like her. I loved her.
Though similar, this love business felt like something that was going to rip its way out of my chest and cause my heart to explode.

I knew for a fact that I wanted to give her everything.
I wanted to get married. I wanted to make her happy. I wanted her to outlive me. I wanted everything. And for her, I’d even be happy with kids.

Ain’t Doin’ It is another Lani Lynn Vale success, and an amazing addition to this that is now one of my all time favorite series of hers, SIMPLE MAN! Emotional, hilarious, suspense, romance and super steamy moments, we had it all. And now I’m literally counting down the days so we can get the fifth book of the series, Too Bad So Sad! Can’t wait! <3 <3 <3 <3

We’d take our lives together one step at a time, and eventually we’d fight those demons together.
In the meantime, I was happy to be there for her just as she was thankful to be there for me.
I’d found something special in my neighbor, and I would thank every single star in the sky for being handed such a gift.

Fixing Her, an all new friends to lovers romance

from debut author Miranda Elaine is LIVE!

Synopsis

When we were younger, Temperance Price was the quiet girl with dreamy eyes who hung on my every word. She was always beautiful, but I had plans to get out of Red Oak and make a life of my own.

Ten years later, a crushing tragedy has brought me home again—right back to her.

The innocent girl I left is gone, and in her place is a sassy single mom I can’t get out of my head. She’s hired me to fix her house, but I have other things in mind.

She thinks I’m just a handyman.

She thinks we’re only friends.

She thinks I’ve never noticed her.

I think what really needs to be fixed is her whole perspective.

Excerpt

I’m nervous but excited. My gut says to run away, but the glass of wine I just finished off is telling me this is an excellent idea. Feeling brave, I hold the phone out at arm’s reach and take a selfie of me sitting on top of my unmade bed.

Times like these make me glad I’m not great about washing the small amount of makeup I wear off before bed. Typically, I just use a baby wipe right before I fall asleep to wipe off whatever bit of mascara survived the day.

Today’s makeup, though light, is still present. I’m spread across the bed in my tiny black shorts and my favorite red tank top with a shelf bra built in. Before logic can make its way into my brain I hit send.

I review the picture and instantly regret fills my stomach. I felt so brave thirty seconds ago. But staring at it now, I see the small rolls of my stomach, and my chest needs more support than the tank itself can provide. Those are not perky twenty-year-old breasts. Those are the breasts of a woman who’s edging toward thirty and has had a baby. I’m ashamed of the dark circles under my eyes.

Why did I send that pic?

Asher: Fuck

My heart sinks. He probably sees all my flaws, too. In a dimly lit house they might not have been noticeable in passing. But on a phone screen, where you can zoom in they’re just there for the seeing.

Asher: Wow. That’s an incredible sight.

I’m unable to conjure a complete thought, nothing sexy, witty, or interesting. I’m frozen, knowing he’s staring at a photo of me, in awe.

Asher: Ok, my turn.

I’m not in any way prepared for what he sends. I’ve seen him shirtless. Hell, I can’t believe I’ve seen him nearly naked in person, felt him in the palm of my hand. And still, I’m in shock at the sight of him stretched out on his bed in just a pair of thin gray sweats, his hand on top wrapped around the outline of his long, thick cock.

I stare for too long at that hand holding that cock firmly. I almost don’t even notice the smirk on his face. He knows how attracted I am to him. Just being around him makes me weak, and by the look on his face I’m guessing he knows how turned on this sight is making me.

My resolve weakens. It’s not even just his hard body or amazing face. It’s the patience he’s shown my daughter. It’s his willingness to spend his time and skills to help me. It’s how he came home to relieve his parents of the stress and pressure of losing a son and attempting to run a business. It’s everything I don’t deserve to hold so close to my heart.

He’s a remarkable man. A man that in a different life, at a different time, I would fight tooth and nail to make mine.

Asher: You still there? You’re starting to hurt my ego.

Me: Yeah. 🙂 Just setting your profile pic on my phone.

Asher: Better make sure it stays locked then.

Me: No worries. I cropped it a tad.

Asher: Just a tad?

I giggle. There ain’t nothing tad-like about that cock.

Me: Well . . . maybe more than a tad. 😉

4 ‘Made to be mine’ Stars

What a DEBUT for Miranda Elaine!!! Fixing Her is an amazingly beautiful and emotional love story!

Temperance and Asher were captivated for one another in high school. He was well aware of her crush, and was just and intrigued by her, but different life goals – and a very driven man, lol – took him out of their small town for ten years. Now back after being distant for so long, when he first gets a glimpse of Temperance he’s under her shy and sweet spell. But Temperance is not the same she was once…

Refusing his friendly gesture is hard but letting him in here for anything more than his job would just be teasing my heart. And that’s a dangerous game I’m not ready to lose.

Everything in me wants this woman. Maybe I need to show her exactly how I feel. The visceral need I have for her. Every inch of my body is hard and eager to find out what her skin feels like beneath my hands.

Life has not been easy for Temperance, a single mom working three jobs to make ends meet, fully devoted to her little girl, Ellie, she has now scars of her past, and ghost that haunt her, coming to surface even more by the return of her high school crush, her dream man, Asher – who is even more deliciously handsome in his maturity.

He’s a remarkable man. A man that in a different life, at a different time, I would fight tooth and nail to make mine.

This might not be your dream scenario, but he is your dream guy. You can have the life you want. You can have it all, even if it’s messy.”

So Asher has a battle on his hands, which he’s fully aware and embraces from the start, he knows that Temperance – and Ellie – are worth all the resistance that she is going to throw his way. I adore how he was so in tune with his feeling and how much he wanted and craved her from the get go. He was such a man’s man that fought for what he wanted and I LOVED that.

Temperance was a complex and intricate character, her very few relations, showed us just how loyal and devoted she was, and we could see her early-on enforced maturity, as well as her dreams and wishes. Her fears were palpable, and when the plot twist – that I have to say I guessed beforehand, lol – was revealed, I truly wish Asher had reacted in a different manner. His more than once hurtful words and actions to her, the longevity of his ‘tantrum’ (not listening) and lack of apology and grovel for this attitudes after it was all cleared out, kind of stole from my enjoyment of the story, and therefore not the five stars I would have given had he shown a bit more maturity in their issues. Nonetheless, Asher has countless moments of swoon-worthiness – specially his Asher/Ellie times, that little girl was adorable – and some amazing words and thoughts.

That woman was made to be mine, and I was made to be hers.

Fixing Her truly was a brilliant debut novel for Miranda Elaine, and with such enticing characters, and interesting secondary ones, I honestly wish Ms. Elaine will give us all of their stories in the future! A beautiful, emotional and endearing friends to lovers romance that shows just how great Miranda Elaine writing talent is. I’ll definitely be following her every step of the way, and can’t wait to see what she brings us next! <3 <3 <3 <3

I promise you this life we have will be the kind of life dreams are made of.”
“Asher.” Her voice is soft with a slight tremble to it. “I couldn’t dream up a better life than the one you’re giving me. I love you.”
“I love you, too. We’re going to be so happy. I promise you.”
