I absolutely adore these series, both the Original Mayson and now both new generation ones, so I’m always giddy with excitement anytime a new Until book is announced and this was no exception, specially after that teasing ending on Until Harmony where we were left beyond curious about Hadley and Cobi after the snippet from his POV.
Well, their story ended up surpassing my expectation, and Cobi, OMG, he went straight to my fav ARR H list!
When I’m not with her I’m thinking about her and when I’m with her I’m thinking about all the things I want to be doing to her.
She’s a mystery to me. A mystery I want to spend the rest of my life trying to solve.
Since the moment she looked into my eyes I knew who she was to me, knew exactly what she meant for my future. Knew that she was MINE.
Swoon-worthy, attentive, protective, Alpha with a capital A this man couldn’t be topped of. Truly all the best qualities that made us fall in love with this Mayson men, Cobi had in spades, so when Hadley practically fell in his arms after a life threatening situation, not only his BOOM radar went off, but also all his Alpha male protective instincts took over. IN more ways than one, it was a life changing moment for both of them.
Hadley knew of Cobi from High School, but had never once expected that the popular boy would steal the breath out of her after the terror she had been through that night, much less that he would take charge and take care of her from then on. Something that, considering her sad and heartbreaking background, no one had done before: put her first.
What made me fall even more for this man was his devotion and attentiveness towards her. Considering the Mayson BOOM effect, I’d say he controlled himself quite well, and though unmoving in his intention, and his care for her, paid attention to her reactions and skittishness. He was so thoughtful, but still sure and strong. So much so that I was pleasantly surprised this ended up being more on the slow burn side – for a Mayson he was very patient, still caveman, but in a smoother way, lol – of the Mayson’s insta-love, he completely stole my heart, and when things took motion and sexy times started happening and he revealed his dirty talking side… OMG!!! He took the Boom to a whole new level of SCORCHING hot!!!

He should come with a warning label! This level of Alpha male hotness can be dangerous! And combined with all his other fantastic qualities, it’s a lethal combo: to heart and panties everywhere, lol.
Hadley was an amazing character, beautifully crafted and her emotions and past really came forward and we could feel her yearning and sadness. Her pain and her disappointment towards her family brought me to tears more than once and I was so joyfully happy that she found Cobi. He would no doubt give her all her heart’s desire, and more, Something she had lost hope for long ago: a true FAMILY, in the form of the amazing Mayson clan.
I want that for her more than I want anything else, I want her to know deep down to her bones that she belongs, that she can be herself and that she has a family. Because one thing I know for certain is that at the end of the day the unconditional love a family can bring you is what will make you stronger as an individual.

Evidently, he had a couple of moments were his Mayson’s OTT Alphaness took over, but that is part of their charm, and their women sure know hoe to handle them, and Hadley was no different. She was so strong and independent that he had his work cut out for him, but he also loved every second of her sassiness and even the stubbornness at times.
“One thing you’ll learn pretty quickly sweetheart is these Mayson men know how to use their words to piss you off one minute and melt your heart the next.”
I’ve never met a man like him before and know that’s because men like him only exists in romance novels, fairytales and Disney Movies, but somehow he’s living and breathing.
Truly fairy tale like – and HOTTER version, that is, lol!
Until Cobi has now taken over as one of my all time favorite ARR stories, considering I devoured it like a decadent chocolate cake, enjoying every second of it, and again with that teasing moment with December – OMG, my heart broke for her! – I’ll be here anxiously awaiting and counting down the days until Ms. Reynolds gives us more Alpha goodness! Can’t freaking wait!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
