From New York Times Bestselling Author Kristen Proby comes the newest installment in her beloved Big Sky Series…
Jenna Hull owns and manages vacation rentals in her hometown of Cunningham Falls, Montana. She’s just completed the construction of her most exhausting project, the one she’s put her heart and soul into. The inviting, opulent Snow Wolf Cottages are the first ski in/ski out tree houses in the world.
Her biggest dream is about to come true, and she can’t let anything distract her.
Christian Wolfe is Hollywood’s it actor. If the magazines are to be believed, he’s the sexiest man on earth. He’s preparing for the biggest movie role of his life, and his agent has booked him in a hot new ski lodge in Montana, tucked away from crazy fans. He can’t wait for the break.
But what Christian isn’t prepared for is Jenna. With a face that could easily co-star with him in a movie and her ambition to put her stamp on Cunningham Falls, he can’t stay away. But even more intriguing than her beauty is the fact that she’s not at all impressed with his celebrity status, only turned on by the man behind the fame.
The love they’ve found is perfect—but time is running out before real life intrudes. Can they survive with both their dreams—and hearts—intact?

“Come on in. This is your home away from home for the next four weeks.” I pause in the kitchen while he wanders through the space, looking outside, then taking in the blue kitchen cabinets, the large gas fireplace, and the comfortable furniture. “In the email correspondence, you asked for extra groceries to be stocked in the kitchen, and I’ve done that for you.”
“Thanks,” he says. “Where’s the closest Starbucks?”
I lean my hip on the counter and take a sip of my now lukewarm coffee. “In town.”
“Not on the mountain?”
“There’s a coffee shop up here, yes, but it doesn’t open until tomorrow when the season officially starts. I believe that’s the case for the restaurants up here, too.”
“So, no food up here?”
I shake my head. “No, but I’ll take pity on you and make you dinner tonight, if you like.”
His eyes narrow, suspicion written all over his face. “Why would you do that?”
I lean in as if I’m about to tell him a secret and whisper loudly, “Because I’m a nice person.”
He doesn’t smile.
“You can figure it out for yourself if you want to.” I shrug and lead him to the barn door that closes the small bedroom off the living space. “This is the bedroom on this level. There’s a bathroom here, too. I’ll show you the upstairs.”
I climb the stairs, certain that his eyes are on my ass, and hear him gasp when we reach the top.
“Cool, huh?”
“Beautiful,” he murmurs again, looking up.

Awww, how sweet, sexy and ROMANTIC is this story!!! Impossible not to love it when for the Hollywood heartthrob falls as hard as Christian did for this small town girl, Jenna. What small town romance is all about! Swoon…
For those of you, KP fans like myself, we meet Jenna in the previous and first book os this spin off, Big Sky series, Charming Hannah, and the sassy, smart and beautiful, younger and only sister to the Hull brothers, Brad and Max.
A small town girl, that though enjoys traveling, loved her little little slice of peaceful heaven in the Montana mountains, and wants to share that beauty with the world in the best way she can, through the hospitality industry, and her luxury tree houses, her niche, just as one of a kind as herself.
Yes, this is where my heart is. This mountain. This town. These people.
And that is exactly what brings them together, when Christian Wolfe, the Hollywood heartthrob, shows up at her doorstep as one of her guests. Christian, with a lifetime on spotlight, as he was a child actor, is getting worn out with all that comes and is expected that comes along with the fame, so when Luke – yes, our LUKE, from the very first KP book and series, With Me in Seattle! – gives him a chance of new role, for which he goes to stay in the snowy Montana mountains, he never expected to find all his life was missing, love.
Staying in one place too long invites people into your bubble.
Always stay on the move.
I’m not starved for attention. I’m starved for connection.
OMG, the instant chemistry and attraction is undeniable, so much so that when Jenna starts tearing his well constructed walls, and all the wariness that comes along with his profession, with her genuine and sassy personality, Christian can’t hold on to those feeling and uncovers all the passion she awakes in him. And in turn does the same to her.
Jesus, I feel the intensity of his touch down to the pit of my stomach. How can a simple touch ignite every nerve ending in my body?
The secondary characters are so damn wonderful it’s no wonder that Kristen Proby transports us so completely to this small community that we fall in love with them just as much as with Christian and Jenna. Yes, with all that Christian’s sister did and said, I couldn’t manage to forgive her, because even though she tried to make emends by the end, it was not enough to make me forget the grade A B!tch she was before, but I hope with the coming books I’ll warm up to her a bit, lol. The girl posse was as kick @ss and fantastic as ever, and I just wanted to be right along with them for the girls night! And Jenna’s brothers were absolutely amazing, and even when they weren’t, Jenna made sure to stay strong and tell them how it was. She was fab! KNew just exactly how to deal with all this Alphas! 😉
“Oh, Lord.” I hang my head and scratch my cheek. “I’m surrounded by alpha men.”
And of course, I have to mention again the cameo and big importance of Luke and Natalie, from Come Away With Me, to this story. With so many similarities between their story – though I still prefer Luke’s choices on the fame matter, in regards to Christian’s here – these two were fundamental to Christian and Jenna’s love story. Luke gave some sound advice, and Natalie’s words of wisdom to Jenna were just what she needed to help her move forward in regards to this very public new world, and specially falling in love with a famous People ‘World’s Sexiest Man’. Who better to tell her about it?!
“I knew I loved Luke after the first week,” she says with a wink. “Time doesn’t matter, Jenna. Sometimes, you meet someone, and you just know. It’s like an instant recognition. Like your heart is saying, oh, there you are.”
I just adored Jenna so much! Her easy going, quick witted personality, coupled with with stunningly beautiful image that she always made sure to make focus point. Her effortlessly realistic and natural way she treated Christian as any other guest without any kind of fan girling was just as refreshing and charming to me as well as to Christian. The way she opened herself up and gave her heart away, made me love her even more.
My God, I’ve fallen in love with Christian Wolfe. Irrevocably, unequivocally in love with him.
Christian truly didn’t know what to expect from Jenna. From the no fuss, even dismissive approach on their first meeting, or the friendly should to lean on, Jenna is everything he never expected to find, and so desperately needed in his life. A breath of fresh air in every way.
I feel at home here, and I don’t know if I’ve ever truly felt that way anywhere before, aside from on a stage or a movie set.
It seems that Jenna is what I’ve been searching for my whole life, and now that I’ve found her, how do I keep her?
“You were such a plot twist,” he murmurs against my lips before kissing me silly. I don’t even care that I’m partially out of the water, all I can feel is Christian. Under me and inside me, he’s all I can focus on. “You make me lose my mind.”
And that, along with that insane chemistry is what makes him fall in love with her as hard as did. Not only falls for her, and wants her as constant in his life, but also her small town, her Home. And that is something he needed as much as Jenna, some solid and stable ground to let himself be. Jenna indeed became that, his home.
She’s everything fresh and wonderful in my life.
If not for his job, that like I’ve mentioned, or hinted at in regards to his options and Luke’s choices, is one of my least fav to read about in romance, because I’m too possessive of my Hs in the hs behalf. I could never stand to endure what the actors/actress’ better half endure, lol. In this case, the only issues I had with the story were events and actions interconnected with his fame and public life. If he had taken a different approach, he would have been the perfect book boyfriend. Nonetheless, Christian was an absolutely swoon worthy, romantic, and oh so HOT hero! He was so smitten and in love with Jenna, that it was impossible not to fall along with her, specially with his thoughts, actions and words!
“It is my job,” he says softly as his eyes travel over my face. “And I love my job. But I don’t love it more than you.”
“Christian—”
This series truly is building up to be just as fantastic as the series from which the spin off originated, Under the Big Sky, one of my all time KP fav. With this small town and intimate ‘little bubble’ romance feel, Kristen Proby has a winning formula I believe. The simple setting, but complex characters is the perfect dichotomy to get us wrapped up in the story, and loose in the romance and sexiness of the book. Kissing Jenna was all I was hoping for for Jenna’s story, and I am now anxiously awaiting for the novella about Brooke – that we got to meet in here – and specially with Max, and I’m hoping Willa’s story! Counting down the days! <3 <3 <3 <3
“Jenna, I can’t do this life without you. I don’t think I started to breathe until the moment I first touched you.”

Kristen was born and raised in a small resort town in her beloved Montana. In her mid-twenties, she decided to stretch her wings and move to the Pacific Northwest, where she made her home for more than a dozen years.
During that time, Kristen wrote many romance novels and joined organizations such as RWA and other small writing groups. She spent countless hours in workshops, and more mornings than she can count up before the dawn so she could write before going to work. She submitted many manuscripts to agents and editors alike, but was always told no. In the summer of 2012, the self-publishing scene was new and thriving, and Kristen had one goal: to publish just one book. It was something she longed to cross off of her bucket list.
Not only did she publish one book, she’s since published close to thirty titles, many of which have hit the USA Today, New York Times and Wall Street Journal Bestsellers lists. She continues to self publish, best known for her With Me In Seattle and Boudreaux series, and is also proud to work with William Morrow, a division of HarperCollins, with the Fusion Series.
Kristen and her husband, John, make their home in her hometown of Whitefish, Montana with their two pugs and two cats.
