RUNNING INTO LOVE
Series: Fluke My Life #1
Author: Aurora Rose Reynolds
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Fawn Reed has kissed one too many toads and has finally decided that Prince Charming doesn’t exist. After countless mishaps, mistakes, and unmitigated disasters on the dating scene, she’s decided to give up and move on with her life…solo.
Everything changes, however, after Fawn runs into Levi Fremont, a homicide detective new to New York City.
Dedication to the job has rendered Levi’s love life nonexistent—until he moves in next door to the free-spirited Fawn. After a series of comedic run-ins push them together, will they finally give in to the inevitable and realize—maybe—they are perfect for each other?
Running Into Love was one of the sweetest, funny and most lighthearted novels I’ve read in a while! A true feel-good kind of story!
Fawn, after a long line of disastrous relationships and dates, has basically given up on the dating scene. Add to that her nerdy and homebody character, she doesn’t hold much hope to find a love like her parents, a true forever kind of relationship.
That is, until she literally runs into a delectable shirtless stranger, LOL!
Levi, recently relocated to NYC, doesn’t know what hit him when this quirky and clueless gorgeous woman comes his way, so when he finds out she’s his brand new neighbor. Instantly attracted, he knows a good thing when he sees it, and he knows Fawn needs to be his, now he just had to convince her…
No one has ever kissed me the way he does. No one has ever made me feel the way he does—like he’s marking me, claiming me as his.
Or better yet, show her, because this woman was so adorably clueless when it came to the opposite sex. That was just one of the numerous qualities that hooked Levi in, as well as it did me. I loved her inner thoughts and hilariously awkward situations, she put herself (and her sisters) in. I couldn’t get enough, and neither could Levi. 😉
The woman who has made me want more out of life, the woman I want to spend my life with.
Levi was every bit of ARR Alpha – with a bit of more added patience, lol – and I adored how insistent and relentless he was in his pursuit of showing Fawn all they could be, and how he felt towards her, in all his protective, possessive and loving splendor. He was amazing!
And Muffin!!! How could I forget the Levi’s main supporter and advocate! That dog was awesome and needs lifelong supply of treats for all his role in bending Fawn to what was right in from of her!
Aurora Rose Reynolds, in Running Into Love gave me everything I look for in my Romance: a lot of funny touched with a bit of sadness, romantic and loving moments spiced up with some sexy times, delicious banter and to top it of a interesting suspense subplot that ties it all in this fantastic and colorful bow! Perfect start for this brand new ARR series!
Equally fantastic were all the secondary characters – seriously, their families were a hoot! – and I’m counting down the days until the next books of the series, and I’m crossing my fingers that we get Mac and Wesley as well as Libby and Lucas as MCs for the upcoming books!!! Pretty please?! Can’t wait!!! <3 <3 <3 <3
