Yes, I couldn’t have been more excited when TB announced this upcoming series, and I may have screamed like a little girl when I got this book in my e-reader, after all there isn’t one story by her that I don’t devour and love in any way, and Disorderly Conduct was no exception!

Charlie and Ever’s story – as well as the whole series, I suspect – has a bit of different feel from Tessa’s other series, and this is one of the things that most captivates in her books (ok, ok, the dirties talkers may have something to do with it too, lol). Part of the novelty I’m sure it’s not only the setting, hello, Police Academy aka Hottie Central, But also the age range, since the main characters are in their early twenties, so Tessa kickass as usual, and gave them a very youthful and realistically immature actions at time, but I’ll not spoil more on that field, you should experience all of the feels when reading this, because believe me, you HAVE to read this!

Charlie and Ever are immediately drawn to one another, literally, like to magnets. They set eyes on the other across a crowded bar and BAM! Instant explosion! Charlie might as well be drooling, actually I think he might have been, if the tightness in his pants was any indication, lol!  As he said himself, Ever was every man’s wet dream come true…

It’s really working for me, because her legs are two sticks of dynamite and I’m more than willing to die in the explosion.

But worry not, because that reaction was not one sided! Ever was just as raptured by Charlie as he was by her! After all who can resist an handsome future officer, with a sparkle in his eye, a wickedly hot body that has you craving for more and the filthiest of mouths?!

Oh yes, they had no chance, and everything was going smoothly with their no-string attached relationship. The ‘no-feellings, just sex’ was exactly what they agreed upon from the start. And each of them had some valid reasons to not want any kind of commitment.

My whole life, my mother has impressed on me that there are no exceptions when it comes to men. Relationships don’t last, because men’s affections are fleeting. 
When we’re in control of the game, we can’t get played.

 

Don’t get me wrong. I’m all about commitment. Right now, though, my entire reserve of commitment juice is being poured into becoming a cop.

So yes, as we well know, that was set to implode in some way or another, specially given their insane connection, so when a event happens in Ever’s life, – not spoiling what, you’ll have to find out for yourselves – she is basically forced to give up Charlie, since he’s very clear that he doesn’t want anything more than sex, and actively look for someone she can share a future with. And that is where everything goes to hell, because one thing is certain, for Charlie what they have is perfect, now it’s just a matter of making Ever change her mind. You can imagine how well that’s going to go, LOL! One thing is certain, he has no doubt what Ever is, and that is HIS!

Plus . . . they don’t need to know a damn thing about Ever. She’s mine. I’m hers. We’re ours.

Of course we couldn’t have a new Tessa Bailey, the Queen of Dirty Talk, without some scorchingly hot sex scenes, and some seriously panty melting filthy talk, and oh boy, did Charlie fit the bill, perfectly!!! Consider yourself warned! Cold shower may be required!

“Tilt your fucking hips and spread your thighs, Ever.” He snaps my thong against the back of my thigh. “I skipped my lunch break for this, so give me something to eat.”

Yes, Charlie was set for disaster from the start, with his devious schemes, and not seeing what was right in from of him all along, which I wish it hadn’t taken him so freaking long, and only realize it after a major event, though believable, I didn’t want it so far along in the book, even I thought it was taking to freaking long to realize what they had. But his past and his families mentality was far to ingrained to allow him to open his eyes. Talk about living in denial!

A badge is something you earn and keep. It doesn’t disappear when things get rough—no, it shines brighter. It’s a sure thing. A lasting thing.

So, given the major mess that he got himself into, of course a major groveling was needed, and that is where Tessa excels once again! This woman sure knows how to make her heroes beg for mercy! And I loved every second of it!!!

“If you say, fuck me, Charlie, I will drop whatever I’m doing. I will get between those legs if I have to kill, steal or sacrifice to get there. And you’ll be a sweating, moaning, crying tangle of sex in the sheets by the time it’s over. I know you don’t doubt me, because I’ve done it. I’ve done it.”

“I’ve been dying for you. Dying. You don’t know what it’s been like.” 
“Yes, I do.”

The Academy started with a bang, and Disorderly Conduct proved to be the perfect visit card for what I’m sure is another all time Fav series by Tessa Bailey! Charlie and Ever’s story was a amazing and enrapturing tale, fresh and super sexy, will get you hooked with this gang from the start, and after that little teaser by the end of the book, I bet Jack’s story is going to be just as delicious and unpredictable! I can’t wait!!! <3 <3 <3 <3

Tessa Bailey is originally from Carlsbad, California. The day after high school graduation, she packed her yearbook, ripped jeans and laptop, driving cross-country to New York City in under four days.

Her most valuable life experiences were learned thereafter while waitressing at K-Dees, a Manhattan pub owned by her uncle. Inside those four walls, she met her husband, best friend and discovered the magic of classic rock, managing to put herself through Kingsborough Community College and the English program at Pace University at the same time. Several stunted attempts to enter the work force as a journalist followed, but romance writing continued to demand her attention.
